NFL Playoff Schedule: 2014-15 Divisional Round Set

The Divisional Round match-ups for the 2014-15 NFL Playoffs are set after the completion of the Wild-Card Round on Sunday evening.

In the AFC, the 6th seed Baltimore Ravens upset the 3rd seed Pittsburgh Steelers 30-17 on Saturday night. Then on Sunday, the 4th seed Indianapolis Colts defeated the 5th seed Cincinnati Bengals 26-10.

Baltimore advances to the Divisional Round and will travel to face the 1st seed New England Patriots on Saturday (4:35pm ET, NBC). The other AFC match-up features the 2nd seed Denver Broncos hosting the 4th seed Indianapolis Colts (Sunday, 4:40pm ET, CBS).

In the NFC, the 4th seed Carolina Panthers knocked off the 5th seed Arizona Cardinals 27-16 on Saturday. On Sunday, the 3rd seed Dallas Cowboys defeated the 6th seed Detroit Lions 24-20.

Carolina advances to play at the 1st seed Seattle Seahawks on Saturday (8:15pm ET, FOX), while Dallas moves on to play at 2nd seed Green Bay on Sunday (1:05pm ET, FOX).

why do they pre-set the times for the Conf. champ. games? If Seattle hosts, that’s a Noon local time start. And nothing like a 6:30 start in Boston in January….

It rotates by year. So in the even years (this year), the AFC hosts the late game, while the NC hosts the early game.
I agree with you though they shouldn’t preset the times, they should have the better game be at 5 PT, and the not-as-good game at 1:30 PT. You should be able to have the primetime starts because the following day is MLK Jr Day, so there is no work/school.
