‘Rivalry Week’ Bowl Projections: Pac-12

By Brandon Sudge -

Unfortunately, the Pac 12 looks to be the odd man out for clinching a berth in the College Football Playoff. However, Stanford should get a quality matchup in a New Year’s Six bowl.

Many of these teams records and projections are subpar due to the competition within the conference. Let’s take a look at where each bowl eligible team is projected to go.

The Pac 12 possesses a strength in the fact that potentially ten teams could receive a bowl bid. It is possible that even with a loss, Washington could receive a bid as well. This is due to the issue that the NCAA may not have enough six-win teams to fill the slots. Therefore, seven-loss teams may need to be included. The NCAA currently says they’re unsure as to how they’ll handle this situation.

Well, may be its a good thing & Stanford gets a rematch with themselves since in the 2014 Rose Bowl all they did was complain on how they beat themselves against the Spartans.

USC to the Toilet Bowl. Stanford smells tons of Roses.; Cal to Independence Bowl has a ice ring to it. Replay of old Holiday Bowl vs Texas Tech at Cactus Bowl also sounds great.
