Question for Mr Vandy: how would you feel if Tennessee ended the year against UGa instead of Vandy? And UGa-GT was played as the next to last game of the year instead of on the new rivalry weekend? (To me, old rivalry weekend is the week before Thanksgiving so students can go to the game.)

Tennessee would be better to finish the season with a new Virginia Tech rivalry, matching all the SEC v. ACC games in the SEC East.

Virginia Tech has a very good rivalry with Virginia called the Battle for the Commonwealth Cup. It’s like the Iron Bowl for the state of Virginia. However, the same cannot be said for Clean, Old-fashioned Hate (Georgia vs. Georgia Tech), which feels more like a punk version of Tennessee vs. Vandy (when the gNats lose which is quite a bit, they start picking fights with the Dawgs.)
