Coastal Carolina to play at Arkansas in 2017

By Kevin Kelley -

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will play at the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2017, MyrtleBeachOnline.com has reported.

Coastal Carolina and Arkansas will square off on November 4, 2017, likely in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks will pay the Chanticleers a $1.5 million guarantee for the game, which will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.

Arkansas now has two announced non-conference games for the 2017 season. The Razorbacks are also scheduled to host TCU on a date to be announced. That game is the second of a home-and-home series that begins in Fort Worth on Sept. 10, 2016.

Coastal Carolina now has three non-conference games lined up in 2017. The Chanticleers are also slated to host UMass on Sept. 2 and visit UAB on Sept. 16.

CCU was previously scheduled to play at Western Illinois in 2017, but that is unlikely now that Coastal Carolina is moving up to the FBS level next season. It’s possible that the CCU-WIU game could be moved to Brooks Stadium in Conway.

CCU does not need a seven-figure payout…….their HC’s portfolio is a fat 8 figures…

Easy Pickings from the Carolinas- Coastal Carolina ,should have scheduled The Citadel.

I must contribute to the athletic foundation to buy a season ticket that includes this?
