Central Michigan, USF schedule 2019 & 2021 football series

By Kevin Kelley -

The Central Michigan Chippewas and the USF Bulls have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2019 and 2021, both schools announced on Thursday.

In the first game of the series, Central Michigan will host USF at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant on Sept. 14, 2019. The Chippewas will then travel to face the Bulls at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Sept. 11, 2021.

Central Michigan and USF have never met on the football field.

“We continue to build a strong non-conference schedule with a focus on bringing in peer programs from around the country,” CMU Director of Athletics Dave Heeke said. “Scheduling two teams in the state of Florida also allows us to connect with our strong alumni population in that state and is a premier destination for our fan base.”

CMU also confirmed our report from February that they have added a home-and-home series against Florida Atlantic.

Central Michigan and the Florida Atlantic Owls will meet at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton on Sept. 21, 2019 and in Mount Pleasant on Sept. 18, 2021.

Although not acknowledged in their release, the Chippewas have also added Maine to their non-conference schedule in 2018. The Black Bears will visit Mount Pleasant on Sept. 22 that season.

I love it, CMU needs to get back down to recruiting Florida after striking gold with the likes of Antonio Brown.

one knows more about losing credibility than you. Of course, you have lost more than “a tad.” You only comment on one subject, and you are cotslstenniy wrong when you comment. If only you would post your thoughts on the stock market, so that the rest of us could do the exact opposite of your suggestions and predictions, we could all get rich and retire.
