Arkansas State to play at Georgia in 2019

The Arkansas State Red Wolves will play at the Georgia Bulldogs in 2019, according to a report by KAIT-TV.

The game will be played at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia on Sept. 14, 2019. Per the report, Arkansas State will receive a guarantee of $1.8 million.

Arkansas State and Georgia have met twice on the gridiron. The Bulldogs beat the Red Wolves in Athens 38-7 in 1997 and 45-17 in 2001.

Georgia now has three non-conference games scheduled for the 2019 season. The Bulldogs are also slated to host Notre Dame on Sept. 21 and travel to in-state rival Georgia Tech to close out the regular-season on Nov. 30.

Arkansas State also has three non-conference games set for 2019. The Red Wolves are scheduled to open the season on Aug. 31 at home vs. SMU and then travel to UNLV on Sept. 7.
