Bowling Green to play at Ohio State in 2020

The Bowling Green Falcons will play at the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2020, FBSchedules.com has learned.

Bowling Green will travel to take on in-state foe Ohio State at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Sept. 5, 2020. The Falcons will receive a $1.2 million guarantee for the game, according to a copy of the contract obtained from BGSU.

Bowling Green traveled to Columbus in 2016 and left with a 77-10 drubbing at the hands of the Buckeyes. The two schools first met in 1992 and Ohio State leads the overall series 5-0.

The Falcons now have two non-conference games set for the 2020 season. They are also scheduled to visit Illinois on Sept. 19.

Ohio State now has two of their three non-conference games in 2020 set. In week two after opening against Bowling Green, the Buckeyes travel to Eugene to take on Oregon on Sept. 12.

If the current Big Ten rotation continues in 2020, Ohio State should host Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, and Rutgers and travel to Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, and Penn State.
