The Kansas State Wildcats have added the Nevada Wolf Pack and the Southern Illinois Salukis to their 2021 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned.

Kansas State will host Nevada at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan on Sept. 18, 2021. The Wildcats will pay the Wolf Pack a $1 million guarantee, according to a copy of the contract obtained from K-State via an open records request.

The 2021 matchup between Kansas State and Nevada will be their first-ever on the gridiron. K-State is 18-15 overall against current members of the Mountain West Conference.

One week prior to hosting Nevada, Kansas State will welcome the Southern Illinois Salukis to Manhattan for their first-ever meeting on Sept. 11, 2021. The Salukis will receive a $450,000 guarantee according to a copy of the contract.

SIU is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision. Last season, the Salukis finished 4-7 overall and 2-6 in MVC play.

The addition of Nevada and Southern Illinois completes the non-conference schedule for Kansas State in 2021. The Wildcats are slated to open the 2021 season at home against Stanford.
