Georgia Southern announced Thursday a scheduled 2020 game with Ole Miss. The Eagles will travel to Oxford for a contest to be played on Sept. 12, 2020.
The Rebels defeated Georgia Southern, 37-27, during the 2016 season.
GSU’s 2020 schedule is now missing just one opponent, as home games with Florida Atlantic (Sept. 19) and Houston (Sept. 26) were previously announced. Ole Miss will play Baylor in Houston on Sept. 5, while FCS opponent Southeast Missouri will visit Oxford on Sept. 19.
