College football rankings 2017: Week 7 AP, Coaches Poll

College football rankings for week 7 have been released, and Michigan State and Notre Dame made some of the biggest jumps in both polls.

Michigan State, which won at Michigan 14-10, moved into the AP Poll at No. 21 and into the Coaches Poll at No. 22.

Notre Dame, which won at North Carolina 33-10, moved up five spots in the AP Poll to No. 16 and up three spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 19.

The top three teams are the same in both Week 7 polls: Alabama, Clemson, and Penn State.

Always boggles the mind that the polls ended up with Ohio State so far above Oklahoma. Good thing we don’t do the BCS thing anymore.
