Mountain West Championship Game 2017 – Fresno State at Boise State

The Mountain West Championship Game for 2017 is set with the Boise State Broncos hosting the Fresno State Bulldogs. The game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Albertson’s Stadium in Boise, Idaho.

The Fresno State Bulldogs won the West Division of the Mountain West Conference with a 7-1 record, one-game ahead of San Diego State. Fresno State is making their third appearance in the MWC title game and is 1-1 overall.

Boise State clinched the Mountain Division title by finishing two games ahead of Colorado State and Wyoming at 7-1. The Broncos have played in one Mountain West Championship Game previously, winning 28-14 over Fresno State in 2014.

Boise State and Fresno State met lat Saturday in Boise. The Bulldogs defeated the Broncos 28-17.

ESPN currently projects Boise State and Fresno State to play in either the Las Vegas Bowl or the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
