ESPN sets bowl schedule for 2018-19 college football season

ESPN has announced their 2018-19 college football bowl schedule, which includes a total of 35 games plus the College Football Playoff National Championship.

The schedule kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Noon ET with the Celebration Bowl, which pits teams from the MEAC and the SWAC. The game will be televised by ABC.

Four more bowl games are slated for the opening day of bowl season: Gildan New Mexico Bowl (2:00pm ET, ESPN), Las Vegas Bowl (3:30pm ET, ABC), Raycom Media Camellia Bowl (5:30pm ET, ESPN), and R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (9:00pm ET, ESPN).

With Christmas Eve falling on a Monday this year, the Hawaii Bowl has moved up two days to Saturday, Dec. 22. It will kick off at 10:30pm ET.

The College Football Playoff semifinal games will be played on Saturday, Dec. 29. The two semifinals are the Capital One Orange Bowl and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, and they will kick at either 4 or 8:00pm ET and will air on ESPN.

The College Football Playoff National Championship is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 7, 2019 at 8:00pm ET and it will be televised by ESPN.

Love love love bowl season. The more games the merrier. Brings back such memories, as our family has a tradition every year picking these games. So much fun! Love how they are during the holidays too.
