Super Bowl LVII and Super Bowl LVIII host cities announced

The host cities for Super Bowl LVII and Super Bowl LVIII were officially announced by the NFL on Wednesday.

Following the completion of the 2022 season, Super Bowl LVII will be played in Glendale, Arizona at University of Phoenix Stadium. The game will likely be played on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023.

This will be the fourth Super Bowl for Arizona, which previously hosted Super Bowl XLIX in 2015, Super Bowl XLII in 2008, and Super Bowl XXX in 1996.

New Orleans, Louisiana, has been selected as the host city for Super Bowl LVIII. The game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Superdome, tentatively, on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024.

New Orleans has previously hosted 10 Super Bowls, which is tied with the Miami area for most times hosted. The first was Super Bowl IV in 1970 and the most recent was Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.

The 2018 NFL Schedule kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 6 with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Atlanta Falcons.

Super Bowl LIII will be played on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
