  • TCU Horned Frogs accept invitation to join Big 12 Conference

    TCUThe TCU Horned Frogs have accepted an invitation to join the Big 12 Conference in all sports, effective on July 1, 2012.

    TCU received an invitation from the Big 12 last week following the departure of Texas A&M to the SEC. The addition of TCU gives the Big 12 a total of ten schools.

  • New Mexico & UTSA Schedule 2013-14 Home-and-Home Football Series

    UTSANew MexicoThe New Mexico Lobos and the UTSA Roadrunners have scheduled a 2013-14 home-and-home football series, UTSA announced today.

    New Mexico will host UTSA at University Stadium in Albuquerque on August 31, 2013. On October 4, 2014, the Lobos will travel to face the Roadrunners at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

  • TCU Horned Frogs invited to join Big 12 Conference

    TCUThe TCU Horned Frogs, who were set to join the Big East next season, have received an invitation to join the Big 12 Conference. Negotiations between TCU and the Big 12 are ongoing, but the move is imminent.

    TCU has been a member of the Mountain West Conference since 2005. Between 1923 and 1995, the Horned Frogs were members of the Southwest Conference before it broke up and became what is now the Big 12. Their move will reignite in-state rivalries with Baylor, Texas and Texas Tech.

  • Tulsa announces Non-Conference Football Schedule through 2015

    TulsaThe Tulsa Golden Hurricane have announced their non-conference football schedule through 2015, TulsaWorld.com has reported.

    A game at Arkansas highlights the future opponents for Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane will travel to face the Razorbacks on Nov. 3, 2012. The two schools have met 71 times in their history, but haven’t played since 2003. Arkansas leads the series 52-16-3 and has won 17 in a row.

  • 2011 Featured College Football Games – Week 6 Schedule

    The Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas highlights week six of the 2011 college football season. Other big games include Florida at LSU, Iowa at Penn State, Auburn at Arkansas and Ohio State at Nebraska.

    ESPN Gameday will broadcast live from Dallas, Texas, the site of the game between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns at the Cotton Bowl.

  • BCS Conferences announce October 15 Football TV Schedule

    The six BCS conferences have each announced their football TV schedule for the weekend of October 15, 2011. Top matchups include Oklahoma State at Texas, Michigan at Michigan State, USC at California, Arizona State at Oregon, LSU at Tennessee and Florida at Auburn.

  • Oregon State finalizes Future Football Games against Nevada and Weber State

    Oregon StateThe Oregon State Beavers have finalized future football games against the Nevada Wolf Pack and the Weber State Wildcats, the school announced today.

    Games against Nevada and Weber State were added, although both opponents were already known. OSU and Nevada tentatively agreed to a home-and-home series back in February while the game against Weber State was discovered earlier this week.

  • Boise State and BYU agree to 12-year Football Series

    BYUBoise StateThe Boise State Broncos and the BYU Cougars have agreed to a 12-year football series, the two schools announced today.

    Boise State and BYU originally signed a four-year contract in 2008 for games between 2012 and 2015. The new agreement extends the series out to 2023 for a total of 12 games. The series will be home-and-home, with games in Boise, Idaho in even years and in Provo, Utah in odd years.
