    Miami (OH)The Miami (OH) RedHawks have extended home-and-home football series’ with Cincinnati and Marshall. The games are listed on Miami’s official website.

    The RedHawks will host the Cincinnati Bearcats at Yager Stadium in Oxford on September 16, 2017. Miami will then travel to face Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium on September 15, 2018.

  • Maryland to play two Future Football Games at M&T Bank Stadium

    MarylandThe Maryland Terrapins will play two future football games at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, the school announced today.

    Maryland will face the West Virginia Mountaineers of the Big East on September 21, 2013. In 2014, the Terrapins will play ACC foe Virginia Tech. The exact date will be determined when the ACC releases the schedule in 2014.

  • USF Bulls add McNeese State to 2013 Football Schedule

    USFThe USF Bulls have added the McNeese State Cowboys to their 2013 football schedule, TampaBay.com has reported.

    USF will host McNeese in their season opener on August 31, 2013 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. McNeese, a member of the Southland Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), will receive a guarantee of $400,000 for the game.

    Phil Steele 2011Phil Steele has published his 2011 college football strength of schedule rankings. Colorado has the toughest schedule in 2011, while Ohio has the easiest.

    In 2010, the Iowa State Cyclones had the toughest schedule. They finished the season 5-7 overall and 3-5 in the Big 12. The easiest schedule in 2010? The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, and they finished 6-7 overall and 5-3 in the Sun Belt.

  • 2011-12 College Football Bowl Schedule released

    FBA BowlsThe 2011-12 College Football Bowl Schedule was officially released today by the Football Bowl Association. The FBA represents college football’s 35 postseason games and all the excitement that is the bowl season.

    The bowl season kicks off on Saturday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. ET with the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque. This year’s matchup will feature the Pac-12 no. 7 seed against the no. 4 or 5 team from the MWC.

    WisconsinBYUHave BYU and Wisconsin schedule a home-and-home football series for 2014 and 2015? That’s what Wisconsin commitment Vince Biegel has claimed in a story on TotalBlueSports.com ($).

    Biegel, a 6-3, 210-pound linebacker from Wisconsin Rapids, committed to the Badgers in April but says he is still considering BYU. In the article, Biegel stated “Either way, we’ll play one another because BYU and Wisconsin signed a contract with one another to play 2014 through 2015.”

  • Oklahoma State, Central Michigan Schedule 3-game Football Series

    Oklahoma StateCentral MichiganThe Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Central Michigan Chippewas have scheduled a 3-game football series beginning in 2015, Drew Ellis of The Morning Sun has reported.

    Oklahoma State will travel to face Central Michigan at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant in 2015. The Chippewas will then face the Cowboys at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater in two games with dates to be announced.

  • MAC announces 2011 Football Kickoff Times

    MACThe Mid-American Conference has announced kickoff times and TV coverage for the 2011 football season. Over 50 games involving MAC teams will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, ESPN Plus and regional network stations.

    Several games still have their kickoff and TV times yet to be determined. Those games will be announced during the season, usually one to two weeks prior to kickoff.

    Louisiana Tech will travel to face Louisiana-Lafayette at Cajun Field in Lafayette on October 4, 2014. On October 3, 2015, the Bulldogs will host the Ragin’ Cajuns at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston.
