    Marshall Thundering HerdThe Marshall Thundering Herd have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Purdue, West Virginia, East Carolina, Houston, Southern Miss and UCF.

    Marshall opens the 2012 season on the road at West Virginia on Sept. 1. The Herd also have non-conference games vs. Western Carolina (Sept. 8), Ohio (Sept. 15) and at Purdue (Sept. 29).

  • UCF Knights announce 2012 Football Schedule

    UCF KnightsThe UCF Knights have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Ohio State, Missouri, East Carolina, Marshall and Southern Miss. This will be the final season for the Knights in Conference USA as they join the Big East in 2013.

    UCF opens the 2012 season on Thursday, Aug. 30 at Akron followed by a trip to Ohio State on Sept. 8. Central Florida then has home games against Florida International on Sept. 15 and new SEC member Missouri on Sept. 29 to conclude their non-conference schedule.

    SMU MustangsThe SMU Mustangs have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Baylor, Texas A&M, TCU, Houston, Rice, and Southern Miss. This will be SMU’s final year in Conference USA as they will join the Big East in 2013.

    The Mustangs open the 2012 season with four straight non-conference games: at Baylor (Sept. 1) and home vs. Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 8), Texas A&M (Sept. 15) and TCU (Sept. 29).

    Memphis TigersThe Memphis Tigers have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Arkansas State, Duke, East Carolina, SMU, Southern Miss and UCF.

    Memphis begins 2012 with four straight non-conference games. The Tigers host UT Martin on Sept. 1 and travel to Arkansas State on Sept. 8. Memphis then hosts Middle Tennessee on Sept. 15 before finishing non-conference play at Duke on Sept. 22.

    Southern Miss Golden EaglesThe Southern Miss Golden Eagles have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Boise State, Louisville, Nebraska, East Carolina, Marshall and UCF.

    Southern Miss opens the 2012 season on Saturday, Sept. 1 at Nebraska. Other non-conference games for Southern Miss include at Western Kentucky (Sept. 22) and home vs. Louisville (Sept. 8) and Boise State (Oct. 6).

  • East Carolina and BYU schedule 2017-18 Home-and-home Football Series

    East CarolinaBYUThe East Carolina Pirates and the BYU Cougars have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2017 and 2018, the two schools announced this afternoon.

    East Carolina will host BYU at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville, NC during the 2017 season. In 2018, the Pirates will travel to face the Cougars at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, UT. Exact dates for the series are to be announced.

  • Nevada and USF schedule Home-and-home Football Series

    USFNevadaThe Nevada Wolf Pack have scheduled a home-and-home football series with the USF Bulls for 2012 and 2015, Nevada announced this morning.

    Nevada will host USF at Mackay Stadium in Reno on September 8, 2012. The Wolf Pack will then travel to face the Bulls at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on October 3, 2015. The game in 2012 will be the first ever meeting between the schools.

    Pac-12The 2012 Pac-12 Football Schedules were released today and have been posted. Conference play begins on Saturday, Sept. 15 with USC at Stanford.

    Some of the prominent non-conference games include Oklahoma State at Arizona, Arizona State at Missouri, California at Ohio State, Colorado at Fresno State, Fresno State at Oregon, Wisconsin at Oregon State, Stanford at Notre Dame, Nebraska at UCLA, Notre Dame at USC, BYU at Utah, Washington at LSU and Washington State at BYU.

  • Rice Owls add Notre Dame Fighting Irish to 2014 Football Schedule

    Notre DameRiceThe Rice Owls have added the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to their 2014 football schedule, the school announced today.

    Rice will travel to play Notre Dame in South Bend on a date to be determined. The game will be the fifth meeting between the schools.

    Notre Dame leads the overall series 4-0. The last meeting between the two schools was Nov. 5, 1988 at Notre Dame Stadium. The Irish won that game 54-11.

  • East Carolina extends Home-and-home Football Series with North Carolina

    North CarolinaEast CarolinaThe East Carolina Pirates have extended their home-and-home football series with the North Carolina Tar Heels, ECU announced Thursday.

    East Carolina will travel to face North Carolina at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill on September 22, 2012. On September 28, 2013, the Pirates will host the Tar Heels at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville.
