    UCF KnightsThe UCF Knights have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Ohio State, Missouri, East Carolina, Marshall and Southern Miss. This will be the final season for the Knights in Conference USA as they join the Big East in 2013.

    UCF opens the 2012 season on Thursday, Aug. 30 at Akron followed by a trip to Ohio State on Sept. 8. Central Florida then has home games against Florida International on Sept. 15 and new SEC member Missouri on Sept. 29 to conclude their non-conference schedule. Read Full Story »

    SMU MustangsThe SMU Mustangs have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Baylor, Texas A&M, TCU, Houston, Rice, and Southern Miss. This will be SMU’s final year in Conference USA as they will join the Big East in 2013.

    East CarolinaBYUThe East Carolina Pirates and the BYU Cougars have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2017 and 2018, the two schools announced this afternoon.

    East Carolina will host BYU at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville, NC during the 2017 season. In 2018, the Pirates will travel to face the Cougars at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, UT. Exact dates for the series are to be announced. Read Full Story »

    USFNevadaThe Nevada Wolf Pack have scheduled a home-and-home football series with the USF Bulls for 2012 and 2015, Nevada announced this morning.

    Nevada will host USF at Mackay Stadium in Reno on September 8, 2012. The Wolf Pack will then travel to face the Bulls at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on October 3, 2015. The game in 2012 will be the first ever meeting between the schools. Read Full Story »

    Pac-12The 2012 Pac-12 Football Schedules were released today and have been posted. Conference play begins on Saturday, Sept. 15 with USC at Stanford.

    Some of the prominent non-conference games include Oklahoma State at Arizona, Arizona State at Missouri, California at Ohio State, Colorado at Fresno State, Fresno State at Oregon, Wisconsin at Oregon State, Stanford at Notre Dame, Nebraska at UCLA, Notre Dame at USC, BYU at Utah, Washington at LSU and Washington State at BYU. Read Full Story »

  • Rice Owls add Notre Dame Fighting Irish to 2014 Football Schedule

    Notre DameRiceThe Rice Owls have added the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to their 2014 football schedule, the school announced today.

    Rice will travel to play Notre Dame in South Bend on a date to be determined. The game will be the fifth meeting between the schools.

    Notre Dame leads the overall series 4-0. The last meeting between the two schools was Nov. 5, 1988 at Notre Dame Stadium. The Irish won that game 54-11. Read Full Story »

    NevadaThe Nevada Wolf Pack have scheduled home-and-home football series with Washington State and Oregon State, senior associate athletics director Keith Hackett announced Thursday.

    Nevada will host Washington State at MacKay Stadium in Reno on September 6, 2014. The Wolf Pack will travel to Martin Stadium in Pullman on September 2, 2017. Nevada and Washington State have met twice in their history. The Cougars won both games, 31-7 in 2002 and 55-21 in 2005. Read Full Story »

    TulsaFresno StateThe Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Fresno State Bulldogs have agreed to a home-and-home football series, Tulsa World has reported.
