  • Washington State Cougars announce 2011 Football Schedule

    The Washington State Cougars have announced their 2011 football schedule, which includes non-conference games against Idaho State, San Diego State and UNLV.

    The Cougars will open the 2011 season at home against Idaho State on September 3, followed by a “home” game against UNLV at Qwest Field in Seattle on September 10. Read Full Story »

  • Washington Huskies announce 2011 Football Schedule

    The Washington Huskies 2011 schedule was announced today in the Thursday edition of the Seattle Times. The schedules for the Pac 12 (formerly the Pac 10) were finalized. Washington is the first school to release their new conference slate.

    With the Pac-12, now split into divisions and a conference title game played the first week of December, UW will have 12 games over 13 weeks, and have one bye week. Read Full Story »

  • Michigan State & Miami Schedule 2020-21 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Michigan State Spartans of the Big Ten and the Miami Hurricanes of the ACC have agreed to begin a home-and-home football series, MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced on Wednesday.

    The series will begin on Saturday, September 16, 2020 when Michigan State hosts Miami at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. The meeting will be the first match up ever between the two schools. Read Full Story »

  • USF adds UTEP and FAMU to Future Non-Conference Football Schedules

    On Tuesday, South Florida AD Doug Woolard announced that the Bulls of the Big East have added the UTEP Miners of Conference USA and the Florida A&M Rattlers of the MEAC to their future non-conference schedules.

    The Bulls and Miners will meet on September 24, 2011 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa in the only game of the series. The meeting will be the first matchup between the schools. Read Full Story »

  • BYU, Utah Announce 2011-12 Home-and-home Football Series

    The BYU Cougars and the Utah Utes have agreed to a home-and-home football series taking place during the 2011 and 2012 seasons, BYU Athletics Director Tom Holmoe announced Thursday.

    The series will begin when Utah visits LaVell Edwards Stadium on September 17, 2011. The series finale will take place on September 15, 2012 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Read Full Story »

  • Boise State & Utah Cancel 2011-13 Football Series

    The Utah Utes and the Boise State Broncos have canceled their 2011-2013 football series, Utah Athletic Director Chris Hill announced Thursday.

  • Air Force & Iowa State Cancel 2013-14 Football Series

    The Air Force Falcons and the Iowa State Cyclones have canceled their previously scheduled 2013-2014 home-and-home football series, the Colorado Springs Gazette has reported.

  • Wake Forest, Notre Dame Schedule 2011 & 2015 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Wake Forest Demon Deacons announced on Monday that they have agreed to a 2011 and 2015 home-and-home football series with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

    The series will begin when the Irish travel to Winston-Salem to take on Wake Forest at BB&T Field on November 5, 2011. The series finale will take place at Notre Dame Stadium when the Irish host Wake Forest on November 7, 2015. Read Full Story »

  • Air Force, Notre Dame agree to 2011 & 2013 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Air Force Falcons of the Mountain West Conference and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, an FBS Independent school, have agreed to a home-and-home football series starting with the 2011 season.

  • West Virginia to play BYU at FedEx Field in 2016

    The West Virginia Mountaineers will take on the BYU Cougars in a non-conference game at FedEx Field, West Virginia has announced.

    The Hawaii Warriors have added the Tulane Green Wave of Conference USA to their 2011 football schedule. The game will be played on November 26, 2011 at Aloha Stadium.

    Tulane replaces a home game with Oregon State. The Oregon State at Hawaii series has been pushed back to September 7, 2013 at Oregon State and September 6, 2014 at Hawaii. Read Full Story »

  • Kansas State adds Eastern Kentucky & Kent State to 2011 Football Schedule

    Kansas State has added Kent State and Eastern Kentucky to complete their 2011 non-conference football schedule. Eastern Kentucky will receive $375,000 while Kent State will receive a larger amount for the one game series (source).

  • BYU Cougars Going Independent in Football

    The BYU Cougars have announced that they will leave the Mountain West for the 2011-12 season and become an independent in football, while joining the WCC for other sports.

    BYU originally scheduled to go to the WAC for everything expect football, but canceled those plans when the Mountain West took Nevada and Fresno State. Read Full Story »
