Missouri (5-1, 1-1) suffered their first loss this weekend at the hands of the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Tigers fell to 11th in the AP and 12th in the Coaches’ Poll.

Texas jumped over the 2nd ranked Alabama Crimson Tide to claim the top spot. Alabama was idle this weekend, which obviously didn’t help their case. However, the Longhorns did beat the consensus number one team in the country.

In the AP Poll, the rest of the Top 5 consists of Alabama, Penn State, Oklahoma and Florida. In the Coaches Poll, Alabama, Penn State, USC and Texas Tech complete the Top 5.

The loss by the Trojans has shaken up the BCS race. USC was heavily favored to finish first. Now they may have to settle for the Rose Bowl and a rematch against Ohio State.

The teams behind USC will all move up after this weekend if they win. Oklahoma hosts a 4-0 TCU team, Georgia hosts 4-0 and 10th ranked Alabama (8th in AP Poll), Florida travels to Arkansas and LSU hosts Mississippi State. The Missouri Tigers are off this weekend.

So what do you think? Which team has the best chance of taking over the number one ranking after this weekend? Who do you predict will play in the BCS Championship game?
