  • 2011-12 College Football Bowl Schedule & Tickets

    BCSThe 2011-12 college football bowl schedule is set. The bowl season begins on December 17, 2011 with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, which features Temple vs. Wyoming.

    The 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game on January 9 features the Alabama Crimson Tide against the LSU Tigers. LSU (13-0, 8-0 SEC) finished first in the final BCS Rankings with Alabama (11-1, 7-1 SEC) coming in second. Read Full Story »

    2012 BCS National Championship GameThe LSU Tigers will face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game on Mon., Jan. 9 (8:30 p.m. ET – ESPN).

  • Utah State accepts invitation to 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

    Famous Idaho Potato BowlThe Utah State Aggies have accepted an invitation to the 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the school announced today.

    Utah State will face a team from the Mid-America Conference (MAC) on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at Bronco Stadium in Boise, Idaho. The game will be televised by ESPN at 5:30 p.m. ET. Read Full Story »

  • Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns receive first ever FBS Bowl Bid

    New Orleans BowlLouisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns have received their first ever bowl bid at the FBS level, the school announced today. The Cajuns will play in the 2011 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

    The game will be played on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. ET at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana (ESPN and ESPN 3D). The Cajuns will be the first ever school from Louisiana to play in the bowl game. Read Full Story »

  • BYU accepts invitation to 2011 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl

    Armed Forces BowlThe BYU Cougars have accepted an invitation to the 2011 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, the school announced today.

    BYU will meet a team from Conference USA on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The game will be televised by ESPN at 12:00 p.m. ET.

    The Cougars have an overall bowl record of 11-17-1. This will be their first Armed Forces Bowl appearance and their 7th consecutive season playing in a bowl game. Read Full Story »

  • 2011 ESPN 3D College Football TV Schedule

    ESPN 3DESPN has announced their 2011 college football schedule that will be broadcast in 3D. ESPN 3D will air 20 regular-season games, the Allstate BCS National Championship Game and five bowl games.

    FBA BowlsThe 2011-12 College Football Bowl Schedule was officially released today by the Football Bowl Association. The FBA represents college football’s 35 postseason games and all the excitement that is the bowl season.

    The bowl season kicks off on Saturday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. ET with the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque. This year’s matchup will feature the Pac-12 no. 7 seed against the no. 4 or 5 team from the MWC. Read Full Story »

    2012 BCS LogoThe logo for the the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game has been released. The game will be played on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.

  • Auburn Tigers Win 2011 BCS National Championship Game

    The Auburn Tigers are the 2011 BCS National Champions after their 22-19 win over the Oregon Ducks. Wes Byrum kicked a 19-yard field goal as time expired to give the Tigers the victory.

    Quarterback Cam Newton, the 2010 Heisman Trophy Winner, completed 20-of-34 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed 22 times for 65 yards. Read Full Story »
