For the third consecutive week, the Alabama Crimson Tide lead the BCS Standings. Georgia, previously 6th, has moved up to 5th place.
The Bulldogs, now the highest ranked one-loss team, moved in to the Top 5 after Alabama defeated LSU on Saturday. LSU dropped from 5th to place.

There was little movement at the top of the Week 9 college football polls. Alabama remains the top team in all three polls and is the unanimous number one in the Coaches Poll.
South Carolina fell out of the Top 10 in all three polls after their 44-11 loss at Florida. The Gamecocks are now 17th in the AP and 16th in the Coaches and Harris Poll.
USC was the beneficiary of South Carolina’s fall. They moved up to 8th in the Coaches Poll, 9th in the Harris, and 10th in the AP. Oregon State also moved into the Top 10 (9th) in the Coaches Poll. Read Full Story »
Kansas State and Notre Dame are now in the Top 5 of both the AP Poll and USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. The Alabama Crimson Tide are the unanimous number one for the second straight week.
Kansas State (6-0) has risen to 3rd in the Coaches Poll and 4th in the AP Poll. Last week, the Wildcats were 5th in the AP and 6th in the Coaches.

Losses by Top 10 teams Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Texas resulted in big changes in both the AP and USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll this week.
Florida State lost 17-16 at unranked NC State to fall from 3rd to 12th in the AP Poll and 4th to 11th in the Coaches Poll. LSU, which was 4th in the AP and 3rd in the Coaches, lost at Florida 14-6 and dropped to 9th and 8th, respectively.
Georgia, previously ranked 5th in both polls, fell even further after getting demolished 35-7 at no. 6 South Carolina. The Bulldogs are now ranked 14th in the AP Poll and 12th in the Coaches Poll. Read Full Story »
The USA TODAY Sports Coaches Top 25 Poll for week 4 has been released, and just like the AP Poll, Alabama and LSU sit atop the rankings. Oregon, Florida State, and Oklahoma complete the Top 5.
Stanford also enjoyed a big jump in the Coaches Poll, moving from 16th to 11th. USC dropped from 3rd all the way down to 12th.
Arkansas dropped from the rankings after being blown out by Alabama 52-0. Virginia Tech, previously ranked 13th, fell out after losing to unranked Pittsburgh. Read Full Story »
After their 41-14 drubbing of then no. 8 Michigan, the Alabama Crimson Tide have ascended to the top of both the AP Poll and the USA Today Sports Top 25 Poll.
USC, who beat Hawaii 49-10, previously held the top spot in the AP Poll. The Trojans dropped one spot to second place.

The 2012 Preseason USA Today Sports Top 25 Coaches Poll has been released and the LSU Tigers top the rankings. LSU received 18 first place votes and 1,403 total points.
Alabama, who defeated LSU in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game, is a close second. The Crimson Tide received 20 first place votes and 1,399 points overall. USC follows in third place with 19 first place votes and 1,388 points. Read Full Story »
The 2011 preseason USA Today Coaches College Football Poll has been released and the Oklahoma Sooners top the rankings. Oklahoma received 42 first place votes and 1,454 total points.
