The BYU Cougars and Southern Miss Golden Eagles have scheduled a 2014-15 home-and-home football series, Southern Miss announced today.
BYU will host Southern Miss at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo in 2014. The Cougars will travel to face the Golden Eagles at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg in 2015. Exact dates of both games were not announced. Read Full Story »
The Temple Owls will open the 2013 football season at Notre Dame, the 2011 Temple football media guide reveals.

The Marshall Thundering Herd and the Navy Midshipmen have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2016 and 2018, Marshall Athletics Director Mike Hamrick announced today.

The Buffalo Bulls have scheduled a game at Penn State in 2015, the Mid-American Conference school announced today.
Buffalo will travel to face the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley on September 12, 2015. It will be the second meeting between the two schools. In their first meeting in 2007, Penn State beat Buffalo 45-24 in Happy Valley. Read Full Story »

The BYU Cougars updated their 2011 and 2012 football schedules during their Media Day today. Among the updates were television coverage for 2011 and two opponents added to the 2012 schedule.
In 2011, a total of 10 BYU football games will be televised by the ESPN family of networks. Four games are already slated for ESPN and two for ESPN2. Games against San Jose State, Idaho and New Mexico State will be televised by an ESPN station TBA. Read Full Story »
The Washington Huskies have announced changes to their 2012 football schedule. The Huskies’ game vs. Nevada, originally scheduled for September 8, 2012, has been moved to September 8, 2018.

The ULM Warhawks have added Auburn and Oklahoma to their future football schedules, ULM Athletics Director Bobby Staub and head football coach Todd Berry announced.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Virginia Tech Hokies in the 2013 Chick-fil-A College Kickoff, the Chick-fil-A Bowl officially announced today.

The LSU Tigers have the toughest 2011 non-conference football schedule according to Sporting News. The publication ranks Mississippi State’s schedule as the worst.
LSU’s season opener against the Oregon Ducks at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas is ranked as one of the five best non-conference games in 2011. The Colorado Buffaloes and Utah Utes are now officially members of the newly expanded Pac-12. For football, the conference now consists of two divisions with the winners facing off in a championship game.
Colorado has been a member of the Big 12 Conference since 1996. Prior to that, they competed in the Big Eight Conference before it expanded and renamed to the Big 12.
The Buffaloes won the Big 12 championship in 2001 and finished the season 10-3. As members of the Big Eight Conference in 1990, Colorado went 11-1-1 and won the AP national championship. Read Full Story »
Today the Nebraska Cornhuskers have officially joined the Big Ten Conference. The conference now has 12 members and has expanded for the first time since adding Penn State in 1990.
Nebraska will compete in the Legends Division along with Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Northwestern. Their first game of 2011 is on September 3 at home against Chattanooga. The Boise State Broncos are now officially a member of the Mountain West Conference. The Broncos announced their move to the MWC last June.
