Georgia Tech has canceled their 2014 and 2017 football games against BYU, FBSchedules.com has verified through documents obtained from the Georgia Tech Athletic Association.
Georgia Tech and BYU were scheduled to play in Atlanta on Oct. 11, 2014 and in Provo on Oct. 14, 2017 as part of a four-game, home-and-home contract signed in October 2010.
The two schools will still play the first half of the agreement which begins on Oct. 27, 2012 at Georgia Tech. The series will now conclude on Oct. 12, 2013 at BYU.Read Full Story »
The Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Atlantic Owls have scheduled a three-game football series for 2013, 2015 and 2016, the schools announced today.
The series will kick off in 2013 when Miami hosts Florida Atlantic at Sun Life Stadium on Aug. 31. The Hurricanes will then travel to face FAU in 2015 and will host the Owls again in 2016 to conclude the series.Read Full Story »
ACC schools usually play some good non-conference opponents. After all, many of their rivals are SEC teams. The ACC also frequently schedules teams from the Big East.
There are several intriguing non-conference games this season and four are played at neutral site locations. Clemson and Miami are each featured twice.

Speaking to 790 The Zone today, Clemson athletics director Terry Don Phillips said he “absolutely” expects the Tigers to play their future home-and-home football series against Georgia.
Last week, it was reported that Clemson was on the verge of canceling the series which is scheduled for 2013 at Clemson and 2014 at Georgia.
