The six BCS conferences have each announced their football TV schedule for the weekend of October 13, 2012.
Top match-ups include Alabama at Missouri, Oklahoma vs. Texas (at Dallas, TX), South Carolina at LSU, West Virginia at Texas Tech, USC at Washington, TCU at Baylor, and Texas A&M vs. Louisiana Tech (at Shreveport, LA).

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have canceled future football games against the Michigan Wolverines in 2015, 2016, and 2017, the AP has reported.
Through a freedom of information request, the AP found that Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick sent a letter to Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon exercising a three-year out in their contract.
Notre Dame and Michigan are still scheduled to meet each year through 2031, with the exception of 2018 and 2019. Their last game under the current contract is set for Sept. 6, 2014 in South Bend.

Notre Dame and UConn could play a 2014 football game at Fenway Park in Boston, The Day has reported.

On Wednesday, Notre Dame announced that they are joining the ACC in all sports except football, where the Irish will remain independent.
In order to exit the Big East, the Fighting Irish must pay the conference a $5 million exit fee and provide 27 months notice. That means Notre Dame would join the ACC for the 2015 season. However, they could negotiate an earlier exit similar to what Pittsburgh and Syracuse did earlier this year.

Duke University and North Carolina Central University announced today that they have extended the Bull City Gridiron Classic football series.
Duke and N.C. Central, who meet this Saturday, are scheduled to play future games at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Duke won the only previous meeting 49-14 on Sept. 26, 2009.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will join the ACC in all sports except football, but the Irish will play five football games per year against ACC members.
The latest news in conference realignment was announced this morning in a release from the ACC. Notre Dame will likely join in 2015 unless an earlier exit can be negotiated with the Big East.

The Richmond Spiders have announced future football games against five ACC teams for the 2013 through 2021 seasons.
Some of the opponents were previously announced, but Richmond has added games against Maryland in 2015, Boston College in 2017, Virginia in 2018, and Virginia Tech in 2021.
The Spiders will travel to NC State next season and will also visit Virginia in 2014.

The Virginia Cavaliers and the UTSA Roadrunners have canceled their future home-and-home football series, MySanAntonio.com has confirmed.
The cancellation was mutual, as conference realignment has affected the future schedules of both schools. Virginia will begin playing a 9-game ACC schedule in 2013 and they had one too many non-conference games scheduled for both 2013 and 2014.
