Kansas State has added the UCA Bears to their 2017 football schedule, the Log Cabin Democrat has reported.
K-State will host UCA at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan on Sept. 2, 2017. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
The University of Central Arkansas, a member of the Southland Conference in the FCS, has never faced a team from the Big 12.

Texas and Texas A&M didn’t play in football last season for the first time since 1915. But Texas athletics director DeLoss Dodds thinks they will face the Aggies eventually.
“I think we’ll play sometime,” Dodds said. “I don’t know when it will happen or how it will happen, but I’m sure it will happen.”
The Longhorns and Aggies have met 118 times, with Texas leading the overall series 75-37-5.

The Big 12 announced their 2013 weekday football schedule today. The slate features four games on Thursday and one on Friday.
Kickoff times and television will be announced at a later date. All games will appear on FOX Sports or an ESPN network, with the exception of North Dakota State at Kansas State which is set for Fox Sports 1.

The Baylor Bears will host the Wofford Terriers in 2013, a source with knowledge of the situation has indicated to FBSchedules.com.
Baylor had an opening come up on their 2013 schedule last week when SMU decided to cancel their Sept. 14 home game against the Bears. SMU subsequently scheduled a home game against Montana State.

The SMU Mustangs have canceled their 2013 home game vs. the Baylor Bears, SMU athletics director Rick Hart announced Wednesday evening.
SMU was scheduled to host Baylor at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas on Sept. 14, 2013. Instead, the Mustangs will now host the Montana State Bobcats, an FCS team, on Sept. 7.
“While this is a rivalry that both schools value, we decided it would be best if we did not play this season,” said SMU A.D. Rick Hart.

The SMU Mustangs appear to be adding a home game against the Montana State Bobcats in 2013, The Dickinson Press has reported.
Montana State, which was scheduled to play at North Dakota State on Sept. 7, 2013, is buying out of that game for $100,000. Indications are that they are canceling NDSU to play at SMU on the same date.
SMU and Montana State have never met in football. The Bobcats are a member of the Big Sky Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Ryan Guillen, a Democratic representative from House District 31 in Texas, introduced a house bill on Monday to require an annual football game between the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies.
Texas and Texas A&M did not play in 2012 due to the Aggies’ move to the SEC from the Big 12. Before the series came to an end, the two bitter in-state rivals had played every season since 1915. The long-standing series, which began in 1894, is led by the Longhorns 76-37-5.

The Charlotte 49ers have announced that they have added the Kansas State Wildcats to their 2016 football schedule.
Charlotte will travel to face Kansas State at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan on Sept. 10, 2016. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
“We know those guys out there and we’ve talked about scheduling a game and it’s worked out,” Charlotte head coach Brad Lambert said.
