Texas Tech will host Texas State in 2013 and will face UTEP in a home-and-home series in 2014 and 2015, Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt told the Avalanche Journal.
No specific dates for the three games were mentioned. A representative of Texas Tech told us that currently there are “no dates yet for release.”

LSU and TCU have agreed in principle to open the 2013 season at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the Star-Telegram has reported.
The 2013 edition of the “Cowboys Classic” will likely be played in prime time on Aug. 31, 2013 and televised on an ESPN network. LSU is 5-2-1 overall against TCU, but the two schools haven’t played since 1968.
As part of the game contract, LSU and TCU will play this game only and will not complete the home-and-home series they initially agreed to back in 2006. LSU was set to host TCU on Sept. 7, 2013 and then travel to face the Horned Frogs on Sept. 6, 2014. Read Full Story »
The Baylor Bears have completed their 2016 non-conference football schedule with the addition of a game against the Liberty Flames.
Baylor will host Liberty at Baylor Stadium in Waco on Sept. 3, 2016, which will be the season-opener for both schools. Baylor and Liberty have never met on the football field.
The Bears’ 2016 schedule also includes a home game against SMU on Sept. 17 and a trip to Rice on Sept. 24. Read Full Story »
The Kansas Jayhawks have announced several additions to their future non-conference football schedules, including a home-and-home series against Memphis and a two-for-one series against Central Michigan.
Kansas will host Memphis at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 12, 2015 and will travel to face the Tigers at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on Sept. 17, 2016. The two schools, which have never met in football, finally inked the agreement that began as a verbal back in January. Read Full Story »
On Thursday, Kansas State athletics director John Currie announced in a letter to K-State Nation that the Wildcats have completed their 2013 and 2014 non-conference football schedules.
Currie previously announced that the 2013 slate was set on April 20, but confirmed that schedule as well as the 2014 opponents yesterday. All six of Kansas State’s 2013 and 2014 non-conference games will be played at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan. Read Full Story »
The Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Mississippi State Bulldogs are in discussions to play at Reliant Stadium in Houston in 2013, NewsOK has reported.
The game would be played on August 31, which would be the season-opener for both schools.
If the match-up is finalized, it would be the fifth meeting between the two schools and second game to be played off campus. The first meeting occurred in Jackson, MS in 1970, with the remaining games played in Stillwater (1971 and 1998) and Starkville (1999). The series is tied at two games each. Read Full Story »
The Big 12 has announced their early season 2012 football TV schedule. The season kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 1 with new conference member West Virginia hosting Marshall at noon on FX.

The Liberty Flames will travel to Morgantown to face the West Virginia Mountaineers in 2015, Liberty has announced.
An exact date for the contest will be determined later. The game will be only the second meeting ever between the two schools. West Virginia beat Liberty 33-20 in 2009 in Morgantown.

The TCU Horned Frogs will play at the Texas Longhorns on Thanksgiving, according to the 2012 Big 12 Football Media Guide that was released today.
Texas will host TCU at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 22. TCU, who officially joined the Big 12 on July 1, replaces Texas’ annual holiday weekend game against the Texas A&M Aggies. Read Full Story »
As a result of the new nine-game ACC football schedule, the Clemson Tigers have canceled future football games against Oklahoma State and Ole Miss.
Clemson was slated to host Ole Miss on Oct. 3, 2015 and travel to face the Rebels on Sept. 10, 2016. The Tigers were also tentatively scheduled to play a home-and-home series against Oklahoma State in 2019 and 2020. Read Full Story »

The TCU Horned Frogs and the West Virginia Mountaineers are official members of the Big 12 Conference today. The Big 12 remains at 10 members after losing Missouri and Texas A&M to the SEC.
Since the Big 12 has only ten teams, the conference is not split into divisions. TCU and West Virginia will play every other member of the Big 12 on a yearly rotating basis.

The Akron Zips and the Iowa State Cyclones have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2018 and 2019, ISU announced today via Twitter.
Iowa State will host Akron at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames on Sept. 22, 2018. The final game of the series will have the Zips hosting the Cyclones at InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field in Akron on Sept. 7, 2019.
