    The Oklahoma Sooners have added the Ball State Cardinals to their 2011 football schedule, BSUDailyNews.com has reported.

    Big 12 releases 2011 Football Schedules and Future Scheduling Format

    The Big 12 has released their revised football schedules for 2011. The conference has also released a future scheduling format for 2012 and beyond.

    Iowa State & Utah Cancel 2011 Football Game

    The Iowa State Cyclones and the Utah Utes have canceled their 2011 football game (source). The game was to be played at Utah on Thursday, September 1, 2011.

    With both the Pac-10 and the Big 12 adopting nine-game conference schedules starting in 2011, both schools mutually agreed to cancel the game. Read Full Story »

    Texas Longhorns Update Non-conference Football Schedule through 2020

    The Texas Longhorns have updated their non-conference football schedule through 2020. They have added future games against Arkansas, New Mexico, New Mexico State and Rice.

    Texas also announced a home-and-home series with Maryland in 2017 and 2018. A few dates were changed too, including the 2015-16 games against California and the 2017 game against UCF. Read Full Story »

    Maryland & Texas Schedule 2017-18 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Maryland Terrapins and the Texas Longhorns have agreed to a home-and-home football series in 2017 and 2018, Texas has announced.

    The Longhorns will host the Terrapins at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin on September 2, 2017. On September 1, 2018, Texas will travel to face Maryland at Byrd Stadium in College Park. Read Full Story »

    Colorado Buffaloes Moving to Pac-12 for 2011 Season

    The Colorado Buffaloes have announced that they will join the Pacific 12 Conference for the 2011 football season. They will exit the Big 12 after this season and will forfeit $6,863,000 in revenue from the conference.

    Utah will also join the former Pac-10 in 2011 which means the conference, to be named the Pac-12, will have 12 teams and will be eligible for a conference championship game. Read Full Story »

    Oklahoma State adds Arizona, Lamar and Louisiana to Future Football Schedules

    The Oklahoma State Cowboys have added non-conference games against Arizona, Lamar and Louisiana to their future football schedules (source).

    Oklahoma State will open the 2011 season at home against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns of the Sun Belt Conference. The Cowboys will also host the Ragin’ Cajuns on September 15, 2012. Read Full Story »

    Oklahoma State and UTSA Schedule Two-for-one Football Series

    The Oklahoma State Cowboys and the UTSA Roadrunners have scheduled a two-for-one football series for 2013, 2014 and 2015, TulsaWorld.com has reported.

    The three-game series begins on September 7, 2013 when Oklahoma State travels to face UTSA at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Cowboys will host the Roadrunners at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater on September 13, 2014 and again on September 19, 2015. Read Full Story »

    The NC State Wolfpack and the Oklahoma State Cowboys have canceled their 2015-16 home-and-home football series, NewsOK.com has reported.

    The Kansas State Wildcats and Virginia Tech Hokies have canceled their home-and-home football series in 2014 and 2016, KansasCity.com has reported.

    Kansas State adds Eastern Kentucky & Kent State to 2011 Football Schedule

    Kansas State has added Kent State and Eastern Kentucky to complete their 2011 non-conference football schedule. Eastern Kentucky will receive $375,000 while Kent State will receive a larger amount for the one game series (source).

    A 2016 and 2019 home-and-home football series between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Purdue Boilermakers has been canceled, Purdue has announced.

    USC and Texas announce 2017-18 Home-and-home Football Series

    Two of the top powers in college football, the USC Trojans and Texas Longhorns, have announced a home-and-home series which will start in 2017.

    The Texas Longhorns will meet the USC Trojans on September 16, 2017 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to begin the series. The return game will take place on September 15, 2018 at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin to complete the series. Read Full Story »

    UTEP at Texas Football Game Moved to 2016 Season

    The UTEP Miners at Texas Longhorns football game originally scheduled for September 8, 2012 in Austin has been moved to 2016, Statesman.com has reported. An exact date has not been announced.

    The game was moved due to the Big 12 Conference’s recent realignment from 12 to 10 teams. The league will move to a nine-game football schedule in 2012. Therefore, each team will only play three non-conference games per season. Read Full Story »
