    UConn HuskiesThe Connecticut Huskies have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Maryland, NC State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.

    Connecticut opens the 2012 season at home on Thursday, Aug. 30 against new FBS member UMass. The Huskies follow that game with four more non-conference contests: NC State (Sept. 8), at Maryland (Sept. 15), at Western Michigan (Sept. 22) and home vs. Buffalo (Fri., Sept. 28).

  • Cincinnati Bearcats announce 2012 Football Schedule

    Cincinnati BearcatsThe Cincinnati Bearcats have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Miami (OH), Virginia Tech, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and UConn.

    Cincinnati opens the 2012 season on Thursday, Sept. 6 with a Big East game at home against Pittsburgh. The following week, the Bearcats host the Delaware State Hornets.

  • Cincinnati adds Fordham to 2012 Football Schedule

    Cincinnati BearcatsThe Cincinnati Bearcats have added the Fordham Rams to their 2012 football schedule, Cincinnati.com has reported.

    Cincinnati will host Fordham at Nippert Stadium on Oct. 13, 2012. The Rams are filling the void left on Cincinnati’s schedule when TCU opted to join the Big 12.

  • Pittsburgh Panthers finalize 2012 Non-conference Football Schedule

    Pittsburgh PanthersThe Pittsburgh Panthers finalized their 2012 non-conference football schedule today with the addition of a home game against Gardner-Webb.

    Pittsburgh opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the Youngstown State Penguins. Other non-conference games at Heinz Field include Virginia Tech on Sept. 15 and Gardner-Webb on Sept. 22. The Panthers will travel to face Buffalo on Oct. 6 and Notre Dame on Nov. 3.

  • Temple Owls to join Big East Conference in 2012

    Big EastThe Big East has officially announced the addition of the Temple Owls to the conference. Temple will join for football in 2012 and all sports in 2013.

    Temple was formerly a member of the Big East in football from 1991 through 2004. The Owls were dismissed from the league and played as an Independent for two years before joining the MAC.

  • Syracuse finalizes 2012 Non-conference Football Schedule

    Syracuse OrangeThe Syracuse Orange have finalized their 2012 non-conference football schedule, the school announced this morning.

    Syracuse opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the Northwestern Wildcats of the Big Ten. Syracuse holds a 5-4 series lead over NU and have won five of the last six meetings.

    The following week, Syracuse takes on the USC Trojans in New York’s College Classic at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

    The Temple Owls are likely to join the Big East conference in all sports in 2012.

  • Boise State to host UT Martin in 2013

    Boise State BroncosThe Boise State Broncos will host the UT Martin Skyhawks in 2013, according to UTM’s official website.

    UT Martin will travel to face Boise State at Bronco Stadium on Sept. 21, 2013. The game will be the first ever between the two schools.

  • Arkansas and Rutgers schedule 2012-13 Home-and-Home Football Series

    RutgersThe Arkansas Razorbacks and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights have scheduled a 2012-13 home-and-home football series, the schools announced today.

    Arkansas will host Rutgers at Donald W. Reynolds Stadium in Fayetteville on Sept. 22, 2012. On Sept. 21, 2013, the Razorbacks will travel to face the Scarlet Knights at High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway, NJ.

  • West Virginia will officially join the Big 12 in 2012

    The West Virginia will officially join the Big 12 Conference for the 2012 season.
