The Pittsburgh Panthers and the UCF Knights have cancelled their 2012 football game, The Orlando Sentinel has reported.
UCF was scheduled to travel to Pittsburgh on September 8, 2012. Due to realignment, the Panthers asked to cancel the agreement and the Knights agreed.

The Michigan Wolverines have finalized their 2012 and 2013 football schedules, the school announced today.
Michigan completed their 2012 schedule with the addition of a game against UMass and their 2013 schedule with a game against Central Michigan.
The Wolverines open the 2012 season on Sept. 1 against Alabama at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Michigan then hosts Air Force (Sept. 8) and UMass (Sept. 15) before completing the non-conference portion of their schedule at Notre Dame (Sept. 22).

The Michigan Wolverines have added the UMass Minutemen to their 2012 football schedule, GazetteNet.com has reported.
Michigan will host UMass at Michigan Stadium on September 15, 2012. In their first and only meeting in 2010, the Minutemen visited Ann Arbor and nearly pulled of a huge upset before falling 42-37.

The Iowa Hawkeyes have added several games to their future non-conference football schedules, TheGazette.com has reported.
Iowa opens the 2015 season at home against Illinois State, likely September 5. The Hawkeyes then play at Iowa State on Sept. 12, host Pittsburgh on Sept. 19 and host North Texas (date TBA).

Rice has scheduled home-and-home football series with the Stanford Cardinal and Northwestern Wildcats, Chron.com has reported.
Rice will face Stanford in the 2016 and 2017 seasons and Northwestern in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Exact dates and locations for each game have not been announced.

The Michigan Wolverines have added the Appalachian State Mountaineers to their 2014 football schedule, the school announced today.
Michigan will host Appalachian State in their 2014 season opener on August 30. The Mountaineers upset the Wolverines 34-32 in 2007, the final season under head coach Lloyd Carr.

The Wisconsin Badgers have finalized their 2012 football schedule, the school announced this afternoon.
Earlier today, it was announced that Wisconsin would open the 2012 season at home against Northern Iowa on September 1. The Badgers have now completed their 2012 slate with the addition of a home game against the Utah State Aggies on September 15.

The Big Ten announced today that they will play a nine game conference football schedule beginning in the 2017 season.
During odd-numbered years, three teams from both the Legends Division and Leaders Division will have five conference home games. The remaining three schools from each division will have five conference home games in even years.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have announced the addition of Arkansas State and South Dakota State to their future football schedules.
Nebraska will host the Arkansas State Red Wolves at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on September 15, 2012. In their first and only meeting in 2009, the Cornhuskers beat the Red Wolves 38-9.

The Purdue Boilermakers have announced changes to their future football schedules, including the cancellation of two games against the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Purdue was scheduled to host Cincinnati on Aug. 30, 2014 and travel to face the Bearcats on Sept. 5, 2015. Both of those games have been cancelled. The two schools will still meet on Aug. 31, 2013 at Cincinnati and Sept. 3, 2016 at Purdue.

The Buffalo Bulls have scheduled a game at Penn State in 2015, the Mid-American Conference school announced today.
Buffalo will travel to face the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley on September 12, 2015. It will be the second meeting between the two schools. In their first meeting in 2007, Penn State beat Buffalo 45-24 in Happy Valley.

Today the Nebraska Cornhuskers have officially joined the Big Ten Conference. The conference now has 12 members and has expanded for the first time since adding Penn State in 1990.
Nebraska will compete in the Legends Division along with Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Northwestern. Their first game of 2011 is on September 3 at home against Chattanooga. Their first Big Ten game is October 1 at Wisconsin. The game will be televised by and ABC/ESPN network at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Biegel, a 6-3, 210-pound linebacker from Wisconsin Rapids, committed to the Badgers in April but says he is still considering BYU. In the article, Biegel stated “Either way, we’ll play one another because BYU and Wisconsin signed a contract with one another to play 2014 through 2015.”

The Hawaii Warriors are talking to both Notre Dame and Wisconsin about scheduling a future home-and-home football series, the Honolulu Star Advertiser has reported.
UH Athletic Director Jim Donovan told the paper that they are looking “out toward 2017, ’18 … or beyond” for games against both Notre Dame and Wisconsin.

The BYU Cougars and Hawaii Warriors have signed an agreement to play football almost every year through 2020, StarAdvertiser.com has reported.
Specific dates and locations were not discussed which shows that the contract will be fluid as the years progress. BYU, which plays its first season as an FBS Independent in 2011, needs some regular opponents to fill out their future schedules.
