The Michigan State Spartans of the Big Ten and the Miami Hurricanes of the ACC have agreed to begin a home-and-home football series, MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced on Wednesday.

After months of rumors, the Alabama-Michigan game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington has been officially announced by both schools. The game will be played on September 1, 2012.
