  • Georgia, Ohio State agree to 2020-21 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Georgia Bulldogs of the SEC and the Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big Ten have agreed to a 2020-21 home-and-home football series, the Athens Banner-Herald reported today.

    UGA Athletic Director Greg McGarity told the ABH that the schools have a “memorandum of understanding” to play the games and that dates have yet to be determined. The games will be played on campus in Athens, Georgia at Sanford Stadium in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio Stadium.

  • Nebraska Cornhuskers announce 2011 Football Schedule

    The Nebraska Cornhuskers have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Fresno State, Washington, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

    Nebraska completed their 2011 schedule today with the addition of their season-opener on September 3 against the Chattanooga Mocs. Three more non-conference games follow: Fresno State (09/10), Washington (09/17) and at Wyoming (09/24).

  • Illinois Fighting Illini announce 2012 Football Schedule

    The Illinois Fighting Illini have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Arizona State, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

    Illinois opens the 2012 season at home against Western Michigan (09/01) and then travels to face Arizona State (09/08). The Fighting Illini then return home for three straight home games: Charleston Southern (09/15), Louisiana Tech (09/22) and Penn State (09/29).

    The Illinois Fighting Illini have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Arizona State, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

    The Fighting Illini will open the 2011 season with five straight home games: Arkansas State (09/03), South Dakota State (09/10), Arizona State (09/17), Western Michigan (09/24) and Northwestern (10/01).

  • Big Ten Names Divisions “Legends” and “Leaders”; Unveils New Logo

    The Big Ten has named their new divisions the Legends and Leaders, it was announced today. The conference also released a new logo (pictured at right).

    With the addition of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Big Ten has twelve teams. The conference is now split into two divisions of six and a championship game will pit the two division champs against each other.

    The Purdue Boilermakers have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio State.

    Purdue completed their 2011 schedule today with the addition of a non-conference game against Middle Tennessee at home on September 3, 2011.

  • Purdue to open 2011 season against Middle Tennessee

    The Purdue Boilermakers have added the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders to their 2011 football schedule, Purdue Director of Athletics Morgan Burke announced on Wednesday.

    The game will take place on September 3, 2011 at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue was previously scheduled to host Kent State on the same date, but the Golden Flashes opted out of the game in order to open the 2011 season at Alabama.

  • Boise State, Michigan State Schedule 3-Game Football Series

    The Boise State Broncos and the Michigan State Spartans have scheduled a three-game football series for 2012, 2022 and 2023, MSU announced yesterday.

    Two contracts were signed for this series, a single-game contract for 2012 and a home-and-home contract for 2022-23.
