  • Northwestern announces 2011 & 2012 Football Schedules

    The Northwestern Wildcats of the Big Ten have announced their 2011 and 2012 football schedules.

    Northwestern’s 2011 schedule features non-conference games at Boston College and Army. Featured Big Ten games include Michigan, at Iowa, Penn State, at Nebraska and Michigan State.

  • Michigan State & Miami Schedule 2020-21 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Michigan State Spartans of the Big Ten and the Miami Hurricanes of the ACC have agreed to begin a home-and-home football series, MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced on Wednesday.

    The series will begin on Saturday, September 16, 2020 when Michigan State hosts Miami at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. The meeting will be the first match up ever between the two schools.

  • Alabama vs. Michigan at Cowboys Stadium in 2012 Finalized

    After months of rumors, the Alabama-Michigan game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington has been officially announced by both schools. The game will be played on September 1, 2012.

    The game will be televised in prime time by either ESPN or CBS, and the officials for the game will come from the Big 12 Conference. Alabama will be designated as the home team.

  • Oklahoma, Nebraska discussing 2020-21 Home-and-home Football Series

    The Oklahoma Sooners and the Nebraska Cornhuskers may schedule a 2020 and 2021 home-and-home football series, USA Today has reported.

    Discussions for the series are preliminary and are dependent on the future Big Ten conference scheduling format. Nebraska AD Tom Osborne said they “can’t make a decision until we know if the Big Ten is going from eight conference games to nine.”

  • Alabama to play Michigan in 2012, vs. ACC in 2013 & 2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff

    Alabama head coach Nick Saban said on his weekly radio show that the Crimson Tide will “probably for sure” play the Michigan Wolverines at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington in 2012.

  • Penn State and Temple announce Two-for-one Football Series

    The Penn State Nittany Lions and the Temple Owls have announced that the two schools have signed a two-for-one football series. The agreement extends their current series through 2016.

  • Oklahoma State, Purdue Cancel 2016 & 2019 Home-and-home Football Series

    A 2016 and 2019 home-and-home football series between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Purdue Boilermakers has been canceled, Purdue has announced.

    The two schools were scheduled to play at West Lafayette, Indiana on September 17, 2016 and at Stillwater, Oklahoma on September 14, 2019.

  • Wisconsin adds UTEP to 2012 Football Schedule

    The Wisconsin Badgers have added the UTEP Miners to their 2012 football schedule. An exact date for the game has not been announced (Source).

    This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. UTEP, currently a member of Conference USA, finished the 2009 season 4-8 overall and 3-5 in the conference.
