    Charlotte adds Eastern Michigan & Elon to Future Football Schedules

    McColl-Richardson FieldThe Charlotte 49ers have added the Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Elon Phoenix to their future football schedules, the school announced today. Both contracts are for home-and-home series.

    Charlotte will host Eastern Michigan at McColl-Richardson Field on Sept. 3, 2016. The 49ers will then travel to meet the Eagles at Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti on Sept. 2, 2017. Read Full Story »

    UAB updates Future Football Schedules

    UAB BlazersThe UAB Blazers have updated their future football schedules, the school announced on Friday.

    UAB will host the Alabama A&M Bulldogs at Legion Field in Birmingham on Sept. 13, 2014. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools, which are separated by just over 100 miles. Read Full Story »

    Pittsburgh adds Old Dominion to 2013 Football Schedule

    Pittsburgh PanthersThe Pittsburgh Panthers have added the Old Dominion Monarchs to their 2013 football schedule, The Virginian-Pilot has reported.

    2013 C-USA Football Helmet Schedule

    The 2013 Conference USA Football Helmet Schedule is now available. The schedule, which is in PDF format, features the team helmets, date, and opponent for each C-USA team.

    For the 2013 season, the C-USA East Division consists of East Carolina, FAU, FIU, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, and UAB. The West Division includes Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Rice, Tulane, Tulsa, UTEP, and UTSA. Read Full Story »

    Cincinnati, UAB add Alabama A&M to Future Football Schedules

    Alabama A&MThe Cincinnati Bearcats and the UAB Blazers have each added the Alabama A&M Bulldogs to their future football schedules.

    UAB will host Alabama A&M in 2014, while Cincinnati will host the Bulldogs on Sept. 5, 2015.

    Previously scheduled games for Cincinnati in 2015 at home against Air Force (Sept. 12) and at Miami, FL (Oct. 3) have or are in the process of being cancelled, according to UC athletics. This also includes a game at Air Force on Sept. 2, 2017. Read Full Story »

    Report: UTEP, Arizona to play 2017-18 Home-and-home Football Series

    Sun Bowl StadiumThe UTEP Miners and the Arizona Wildcats have reportedly scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

    Bret Bloomquist of the El Paso Times revealed the Pac-12/C-USA match-up yesterday, but did not have specific dates or locations for the series.

    Arizona and UTEP have met 51 times since 1916. Read Full Story »

    Report: Old Dominion close to finalizing 2-game series with USF

    Old DominionThe Old Dominion Monarchs are close to finalizing a 2-game, home-and-home football series with the USF Bulls, Harry Minium of The Virginian-Pilot has reported.

    If the series is completed, ODU will host USF in 2014 and then travel to face the Bulls in Tampa in 2016. The two schools have never met in football. Read Full Story »

    Conference USAThe 2013 Conference USA football schedules have been released. Conference play begins on Sept. 7 when Florida Atlantic travels to face East Carolina.

    For 2013, Conference USA welcomes new members Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, and UTSA. Houston, Memphis, SMU, and UCF have each left Conference USA to join the Big East. Read Full Story »

    UCF, Penn State schedule 2013 & 2014/15 Home-and-home Football Series

    Beaver StadiumThe UCF Knights and the Penn State Nittany Lions have scheduled a 2013-14 home-and-home football series, the Orlando Sentinel has reported.

    UCF will travel to face Penn State at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 14, 2013. The Knights will then host the Nittany Lions at Bright House Networks Stadium in Orlando on a date to be announced in 2014. Read Full Story »

    Conference USAConference USA has announced their new division alignment and has also set the home and away opponents for the 2013 season.

    For 2013, Conference USA welcomes new members Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, and UTSA. FIU and FAU are both joining the league one year earlier than was previously expected. Read Full Story »

    FAU, MTSU leaving Sun Belt early to join C-USA in 2013

    C-USA 2013The Florida Atlantic Owls and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will join Conference USA in 2013 rather than 2014, Sun Belt commissioner Karl Benson confirmed Friday evening.

    Both schools were set to join C-USA on July 1, 2014 but moved up their timetable. They join Florida International and North Texas who are also leaving the Sun Belt for C-USA. Read Full Story »

    2013 College Football Schedule: Teams that need Non-Conference Games

    Missouri TigersMost teams have their 2013 non-conference football schedules set, but there are eight teams that still need one game: Duke, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Marshall, Tulane, BYU, Missouri, and Texas State.

    In addition, there will be four teams from the Mountain West that can play a 13-game schedule (5 non-conference games) based on the Hawaii Exemption. Under that rule, teams that play at Hawaii have the option of adding a 13th game to offset travel costs. Read Full Story »

    Louisiana Tech announces 2013 Non-Conference Football Schedule

    Louisiana Tech BulldogsThe Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have announced their 2013 non-conference football schedule, which features games against NC State and Kansas.

    Tech opens the 2013 season at the NC State Wolfpack of the ACC on Aug. 31. The two schools have never met on the football field.

    Charlotte will travel to face Kansas State at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan on Sept. 10, 2016. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

    Houston, Louisiana Tech cancel 2013-14 Football Games

    Houston-Louisiana TechThe Houston Cougars and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have mutually agreed to cancel their 2013 and 2014 football games, UH assistant athletics director David Bassity confirmed to

    Houston was scheduled to host Louisiana Tech on Sept. 7, 2013 and travel to face the Bulldogs on Sept. 13, 2014.

    The Cougars further confirmed the cancellation today when they announced that their four non-conference opponents in 2013 are BYU, Rice, Southern, and UTSA. Read Full Story »
