Army and Notre Dame are in discussions for a future football series, Army athletic director Boo Corrgian confirmed yesterday.
“We’re working through details with the University of Notre Dame on a series,” Corrigan said. “It’s coming in the future. We’re excited about a series that we are going to play with them.”

NBC and NBC Sports have announced their 2012 college football TV schedule, which features 17 FBS games and 15 FCS games.

The Northwestern Wildcats have added future non-conference football games against Western Michigan and Eastern Illinois and dropped a game against Army, the school announced this week.
Northwestern will host Eastern Illinois at Ryan Field in Evanston, IL on Sept. 12, 2015. The game completed their 2015 football schedule, which was officially announced on Tuesday.

Two BYU football games have been moved to accommodate national television broadcasts, Mike Humes of ESPN announced today.
BYU’s season opener against Washington State has been moved to Thursday, Aug. 30 and will be televised by ESPN at 10:15 p.m. ET. The game was initially set for Saturday, Sept. 1.

Navy has eliminated another game from their future football schedules. This time it’s a 2014 game against the Rice Owls.

When Navy announced they were joining the Big East in 2015, it was evident that they would have to ditch several non-conference games. That process has begun as a four-game football series with UNLV has been canceled.

Georgia Tech has canceled their 2014 and 2017 football games against BYU, FBSchedules.com has verified through documents obtained from the Georgia Tech Athletic Association.
Georgia Tech and BYU were scheduled to play in Atlanta on Oct. 11, 2014 and in Provo on Oct. 14, 2017 as part of a four-game, home-and-home contract signed in October 2010.

CBS announced this afternoon that they will televised Navy vs. Notre Dame at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 1. The game will be played at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The broadcast team will feature Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson in the booth while Tracy Wolfson will report from the sidelines. Local time in Ireland at kickoff will be 2 p.m.
