When Navy announced they were joining the Big East in 2015, it was evident that they would have to ditch several non-conference games. That process has begun as a four-game football series with UNLV has been canceled.
Navy and UNLV were scheduled to meet in Las Vegas in 2014 (Oct. 11) and 2017 (Oct. 7) and in Annapolis in 2015 (Sept. 5) and 2016 (Sept. 17). The 2014 game would have been the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Georgia Tech has canceled their 2014 and 2017 football games against BYU, FBSchedules.com has verified through documents obtained from the Georgia Tech Athletic Association.
Georgia Tech and BYU were scheduled to play in Atlanta on Oct. 11, 2014 and in Provo on Oct. 14, 2017 as part of a four-game, home-and-home contract signed in October 2010.
The two schools will still play the first half of the agreement which begins on Oct. 27, 2012 at Georgia Tech. The series will now conclude on Oct. 12, 2013 at BYU.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the Temple Owls on Sept. 2, 2017, ESPN reported today. The game was initially scheduled for Sept. 26, 2015, but the game was pushed back so that the Fighting Irish could play the UMass Minutemen on that date.

CBS announced this afternoon that they will televised Navy vs. Notre Dame at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 1. The game will be played at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The broadcast team will feature Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson in the booth while Tracy Wolfson will report from the sidelines. Local time in Ireland at kickoff will be 2 p.m.
Aviva Stadium opened on May 14, 2010 and seats 51,700. The stadium is home to the Irish Rugby Football Union and the Republic of Ireland national football team.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the UMass Minutemen in 2015, Gazette.net has reported.
The contest could reunite Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly and UMass head coach Charley Molnar. Molnar was Kelly’s offensive coordinator at Notre Dame in 2010 and 2011.

Georgia Tech is planning to cancel future football games against BYU in 2014 and 2017, the AJC reported earlier this week.
The Yellow Jackets are currently slated to host the Cougars on Oct. 11, 2014 and travel to Provo on Oct. 14, 2017. The two games are part of a four-game, home-and-home series that was scheduled in October 2010.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have announced kickoff times for their 2012 home games, their contest at Soldier Field in Chicago and their annual Spring game. All home games, except for Michigan, will be televised by NBC at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Speaking to reporters after their third spring football practice, BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall told reporters there is a “good chance” that the Cougars could schedule Wisconsin.
Last year rumors were rampant that BYU was in talks with several big name schools for future home-and-home and two-for-one games. Only one of those rumors has panned out so far, resulting in a single game at Nebraska in 2015.

The BYU Cougars will travel to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2015, the schools have announced.
BYU and Nebraska will square off at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on Sept. 5, 2015. The game will mark the first ever meeting between the two schools.

The BYU Cougars have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Boise State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Oregon State and Utah.
BYU will open the 2012 season at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Sept. 1 against the Washington State Cougars, followed by a home contest against the Weber State Wildcats on Sept. 8.
