The BYU Cougars and the Virginia Cavaliers have added two additional games to their future football series.
BYU will travel to face Virginia at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville on Sept. 7, 2019. The Cavaliers will then travel to face the Cougars at LaVell Stadium in Provo on Sept. 19, 2020.

New Mexico State will be playing their first season as an FBS Independent after the WAC discontinued football. They had been a member of the WAC since 2005.
