    Report: Notre Dame to host UMass in 2015

    UMassNotre DameThe Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the UMass Minutemen in 2015, Gazette.net has reported.

    The contest could reunite Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly and UMass head coach Charley Molnar. Molnar was Kelly’s offensive coordinator at Notre Dame in 2010 and 2011. Read Full Story »

    Minnesota announces changes to Future Football Schedules

    Minnesota Golden GophersThe Minnesota Golden Gophers announced a few changes to their future football schedules this morning.

    On Sept. 6, 2014, Minnesota will host the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders at TCF Bank Stadium.

    The Golden Gophers were previously scheduled to travel to Miami (OH) on Sept. 6, 2014, but will now make the trip to face the RedHawks on Sept. 17, 2016. Read Full Story »

    2012 MAC Football Schedules Announced

    MACThe 2012 Mid-American Conference (MAC) football schedules were released today. The season begins on Thursday, August 30 with Akron, Central Michigan and UMass each hosting non-conference opponents.

    Temple is no longer a part of the MAC as they have joined the Big East for the 2012 season. As a result, Bowling Green was moved back to the MAC East Division. Read Full Story »

    Temple Owls to join Big East Conference in 2012

    Big EastThe Big East has officially announced the addition of the Temple Owls to the conference. Temple will join for football in 2012 and all sports in 2013.

    Temple was formerly a member of the Big East in football from 1991 through 2004. The Owls were dismissed from the league and played as an Independent for two years before joining the MAC. Read Full Story »

    Temple to open 2012 season against Villanova in Mayor’s Cup

    Buffalo Bulls complete 2013 Non-conference Football Schedule

    Buffalo BullsThe Buffalo Bulls have completed their 2013 non-conference football schedule, the school announced today.

    UB completed their schedule with the addition of a Sept. 21 game at the Ohio State Buckeyes. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools and the Bulls will receive a $1 million guarantee. Read Full Story »

    Ohio State BuckeyesThe Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Buffalo Bulls in 2013, the schools announced today.

    Miami (OH) RedHawks complete 2012 Non-conference Football Schedule

    Miami (OH) RedHawksThe Miami (OH) RedHawks have completed their 2012 non-conference football schedule, the school announced today.

    Miami completed their schedule with the addition of a home game against the Southern Illinois Salukis on Sept. 8, 2012. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

    The RedHawks were previously slated to host Missouri in 2012. But since the Tigers moved to the SEC, they had to cancel their matchup. Read Full Story »

    MAC announces new Football Divisional Alignment for 2012

    MACThe MAC has announced a new football divisional alignment starting in 2012. The addition of UMass to the conference brings the total number of MAC schools to 14.
