The MAC has announced a new football divisional alignment starting in 2012. The addition of UMass to the conference brings the total number of MAC schools to 14.

The 2011 Marathon MAC Championship football game is set with the Northern Illinois Huskies facing the Ohio Bobcats. The game will be held on Friday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan (ESPN2).

The Buffalo Bulls have scheduled a game at Penn State in 2015, the Mid-American Conference school announced today.
