The Temple Owls are trying to schedule a football game at Hawaii this December, the Star-Advertiser has reported.
Temple’s 2012 schedule currently consists of only 11 games. When it was released in March, the Owls were still actively seeking a 12th game.
“It’s very far from a done deal. We’re going through the due diligence,” Rockne Freitas, Hawaii’s acting athletic director said. Read Full Story »
Ohio State could host the San Diego State Aztecs in 2013, according to a report by The Columbus Dispatch.
The Buckeyes have been searching for a non-conference game in 2013 to replace their Aug. 31 season-opener against Vanderbilt, which was recently canceled by the Commodores. San Diego State has apparently emerged as the most likely candidate.
Ohio State has been in talks with Buffalo to move their game, previously announced as Sept. 21, to the season-opener on Aug. 31. San Diego State would then be placed into the Sept. 21 slot or they could switch with Florida A&M (Sept. 7). Read Full Story »

The USC Trojans will open the 2014 season against the Fresno State Bulldogs, both schools announced on Monday.
USC will host Fresno State at Los Angeles Coliseum on Aug. 30, 2014. This will be the third meeting between the two schools, although USC vacated their 2005 win against the Bulldogs due to NCAA sanctions. Fresno State won the only other contest 24-7 in the 1992 Freedom Bowl.

Wyoming and Washington State have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2015 and 2018, both schools have announced.
Washington State will host the first game of the series at Martin Stadium in Pullman on Sept. 12, 2015. The final game will be played on Sept. 1, 2018 at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.

Wyoming has scheduled a home-and-home football series against Eastern Michigan, the school announced today.
Eastern Michigan will make the trip to War Memorial Stadium in Laramie for their first ever match-up against Wyoming on Sept. 19, 2015. The Cowboys will return the trip to Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti on Sept. 24, 2016.

The Northern Illinois Huskies and the Wyoming Cowboys have scheduled a 2015-16 home-and-home football series, NIU announced today.
Northern Illinois will host Wyoming at Huskie Stadium in Dekalb on Sept. 26, 2015. NIU will then return the trip to War Memorial Stadium in Laramie on Sept. 3, 2016.

Michigan State has added Wyoming to their 2014 football schedule and has also set dates for future games in their Celebrate the State football series, their 2012 media guide indicates.
The Spartans are tentatively set to host Wyoming in East Lansing on Sept. 20, 2014. According to the media guide, Michigan State is also playing Eastern Michigan the same day.

The Texas A&M Aggies have added the New Mexico Lobos to their 2013 football schedule, ESPN has reported.
Texas A&M will host New Mexico at Kyle Field in College Station on Nov. 16, 2013. The game will be the fourth overall meeting between the two schools.
In their first ever match-up, the Aggies crushed the Lobos 63-0 in College Station in 1926. Read Full Story »
Air Force and Cincinnati will likely cancel their 2015 and 2017 home-and-home football series, according to a report today by Gazette.com.
Rick Trego, Air Force senior associate athletic director, said that Cincinnati approached them about canceling the series and “that is probably the direction we will go.”

Arizona will travel to face Hawaii at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on Aug. 31, 2019. The Wildcats will then host the Warriors at Arizona Stadium in Tucson on Sept. 5, 2020 to complete the two-game series. Read Full Story »
The 2013 Boise State at BYU football game has changed dates again. The Broncos will now travel to face the Cougars on September 21, 2013.
Boise State and BYU were initially set to meet in Provo on Sept. 7, 2013. But after Boise State signed a home-and-home series with Washington in January 2011, the game was moved to Sept. 21. Read Full Story »
The 2013 Boise State at Washington football game has been moved to August 31, both schools announced today.
We first reported on the likelihood of the move on Friday after UT Martin moved their game against Boise State to September 7, which was the date that Boise State and Washington were scheduled to play.
