The Washington Huskies have added the Montana Grizzlies to their 2017 football schedule, UW announced on Friday.
Washington will host Montana at Husky Stadium on September 2, 2017. It will mark the 18th time that the Grizzlies have traveled to Seattle.
The Huskies lead the overall series 16-1-1, but the two schools haven’t met since 1951.

The Illinois Fighting Illini will face the Washington Huskies at Soldier Field in Chicago, ESPNChicago.com has reported. Illinois sports information director Kent Brown confirmed the game.
The match-up, which is set for Sept. 14, 2013, was originally scheduled to be played at Memorial Stadium in Champaign. Washington leads the overall series 5-4, but the two schools haven’t met since 1972.

The Oregon Ducks have added the Eastern Washington Eagles to their 2015 football schedule, EWU has announced.
Oregon will host Eastern Washington at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on September 5, 2015. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
Georgia was previously set to travel to Oregon on Sept. 5, 2015, but the two schools agreed to cancel their 2015-16 series back in September 2010.

The Big Ten Conference announced today that the Big Ten and Pac-12 have suspended their future scheduling agreement for football and all other sports.
Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany said that the Pac-12′s nine-game conference schedule and “previous non-conference commitments” made the task of matching up 24 teams across two conferences “too difficult.”
Although the agreement would have created some compelling match-ups, it would also have made schedules for some of the Pac-12 teams much tougher.

The Arizona Wildcats and the Hawaii Warriors will play a home-and-home football series in 2019 and 2020, both schools announced this afternoon.
Arizona will travel to face Hawaii at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on Aug. 31, 2019. The Wildcats will then host the Warriors at Arizona Stadium in Tucson on Sept. 5, 2020 to complete the two-game series.

At a media luncheon today, Utah athletics director Chris Hill told reporters that the Utes will face BYU in Provo in 2013 and in Salt Lake City in 2016.
The two schools have played every year since 1946, but the future of the series has been in jeopardy ever since Utah joined the Pac-12.
Utah is concerned about making their non-conference schedule too tough.

The 2013 Boise State at Washington football game has been moved to August 31, both schools announced today.
We first reported on the likelihood of the move on Friday after UT Martin moved their game against Boise State to September 7, which was the date that Boise State and Washington were scheduled to play.
Washington’s release stated that the game was moved because “Aug. 31 was deemed a more advantageous date for both programs.”

The newest additions to Colorado’s schedules are a Sept. 26, 2015 home game against Grambling State and a Sept. 17, 2016 trip to Ann Arbor to face Michigan.
Colorado and Colorado State will continue to meet annually at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver.

The long-term football scheduling agreement between the Big Ten and Pac-12 isn’t set to begin until 2017, but that isn’t stopping some teams from getting in on the action beforehand.
Chris Balas of TheWolverine.com tweeted today that Michigan is close to signing a home-and-home football series with the Utah Utes. The series would reportedly begin in Ann Arbor in 2014 and close at Utah on a Thursday in 2015.

Washington will host Idaho State, an FCS team, at Husky Stadium in Seattle on Sept. 21, 2013. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
The match-up will also be Washington’s second against an FCS team since 1992.

In a conference call this morning, the Big Ten Conference announced that their presidents prefer the “status quo” over a four-team college football playoff.
“If the Big Ten presidents were to vote today, we would vote for the status quo,” Nebraska chancellor Harvey Perlman said on the conference call. “We think it best serves college football. We think it best protects our student-athletes. I don’t think any of us are anxious … to ask our student-athletes to play a 15th game.”

The Virginia Cavaliers have scheduled a 2017-18 home-and-home football series with the Stanford Cardinal, Virginia’s official website indicates.
Virginia will host the series opener at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville on Sept. 9, 2017 while the final game will be played at Stanford Stadium on Sept. 8, 2018. The 2017 game will be the first ever meeting between these two schools.

The Washington State Cougars have added the Idaho Vandals to their 2013 football schedule, WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos announced today.
Washington State will host Idaho at Martin Stadium in Pullman on Sept. 21, 2013. The two schools have a long standing rivalry that dates back to 1894. The Cougars lead the overall series 70-18-3.
From 1998-2007, the Cougars and Vandals played 10 times.
