The LSU Tigers have added the Jacksonville State Gamecocks to their 2015 football schedule, JSU has announced. The game will be played at Tiger Stadium on September 5, 2015.

The Pac-10 has announced that they will be named the Pac-12 once Colorado and Utah join the conference. They also unveiled a new logo (pictured at right). The number will be changed to 12 in the future.
Utah will definitely join the Pac-12 in 2011 as it was part of their deal. Colorado and the Big 12 are still working to make the transfer happen. Read Full Story »
EverBank has announced that they have acquired naming rights for Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The new name of the stadium is Everbank Field.
The stadium, located next to the St. John’s River in downtown Jacksonville, is home to the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. The stadium also hosts the annual Georgia-Florida game. A deal for that game extends through 2016. Read Full Story »
The Minnesota Golden Gophers and Texas Longhorns have canceled their 2015-16 home-and-home football series, the schools announced Tuesday.

The Miami (FL) Hurricanes and the Toledo Rockets have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2015 and 2016, the University of Toledo has reported.

The Tennessee Volunteers will open the 2011 football season at home against the Montana Grizzlies, the Billings Gazette is reporting.
The Volunteers will host the Grizzlies at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on September 3, 2011. Tennessee was supposed to host North Texas on that date, but the game has apparently been moved or canceled. Read Full Story »
The 2010 SEC football schedules are now official. The season begins on Thursday, September 2 when the South Carolina Gamecocks host the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The Miami Hurricanes and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have set the dates for their game at Soldier Field and their ensuing home-and-home football series, The Miami-Herald has reported.
The Canes and Irish will meet at Soldier Field in Chicago on October 6, 2012. It will be the first contest between the two schools away from their home stadiums since the 1979 Mirage Bowl in Tokyo, Japan. Notre Dame won that game 40-15. Read Full Story »

The Maryland Terrapins and the Texas Longhorns are in discussions to schedule a home-and-home football series, The Washington Post is reporting.
