The Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh Panthers, scheduled to meet in 2016 and 2017, have added two additional games to the series.
Pitt will host Penn State at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on September 8, 2018 and will then travel to face the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium on September 14, 2019.
Last year, the two schools announced games at Pittsburgh on Sept. 10, 2016 and at Penn State on Sept. 16, 2017. Read Full Story »

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have added the Alabama A&M Bulldogs to their 2013 football schedule, the school announced today.
Georgia Tech will host Alabama A&M at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta on Nov. 23, 2013. It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

The Miami Hurricanes are “finalizing” a 2013 game against the Savannah State Tigers, the Miami Herald has reported.
Miami will host Savannah State at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens on a date to be announced. It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Well fans, we have reached the end of the 2012 college football regular season. This year has had a variety of teams occupying the top spot in college football and Notre Dame ended up #1 when the music stopped. The Irish will take on the SEC Champion Alabama Crimson Tide in the BCS National Championship Game that is sure to be one of the most watched in history. While Alabama has one loss, other one loss teams like Kansas State, Florida and Oregon will play in lower tier BCS bowl games. If there was any year for a playoff system in college football, this would be the one. Let’s do a hypothetical final four projection and see if we end up with the same BCS Championship game. We should have known. We truly should have known.
Just when we all thought the SEC’s streak of playing for national titles would end, Kansas State lost. Then Oregon lost. We will not get an all-SEC title game this year, but the winner of this year’s conference championship game gets the honor of facing Notre Dame in the BCS Championship. Alabama is fighting for a return trip to play for the title, while a Georgia win would allow them to play for their first title since 1980. The Memphis Tigers have announced their future non-conference football opponents, which features a new home-and-home series vs. UCLA.
Memphis will travel to face UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles on Sept. 6, 2014. The Bruins will return the game by playing at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on Sept. 16, 2017. The 2014 game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. Read Full Story »
The Southern Miss Golden Eagles have added the Texas State Bobcats to their 2013 football schedule, the Hattiesburg American has reported.

The San Diego State Aztecs have added future football games against California, New Mexico State, and San Jose State, the school announced today.
Agreements with California and New Mexico State call for home-and-home series, while SDSU and San Jose State will play a total of three games.
San Diego State will travel to face Cal at California Memorial Stadium in Berkley on Sept. 12, 2015. The Aztecs will then host the Golden Bears at Qualcomm Stadium on Sept. 10, 2016. Read Full Story »
Nebraska and Oklahoma have scheduled a 2021-22 home-and-home football series, both schools announced this afternoon.
Oklahoma will host the first game of the series at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman on Sept. 18, 2021. Nebraska will host the second game at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on Sept. 17, 2022.
“Our rivalry with Oklahoma has been one of the great traditional matchups in the history of college football,” Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne said. Read Full Story »
Southern Miss and Nebraska have been going back and forth over where to play their 2013 contest, which was originally slated for Hattiesburg on Sept. 7.
First the game was rumored to be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, and then later Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City was mentioned.

One of the wildest ACC football seasons in recent memory draws to a close on Saturday in Charlotte. Clemson lost their first ACC game to Florida State, then never lost again over the course of the ACC schedule. Maryland lost every scholarship quarterback to injury and finished the season with a linebacker playing quarterback. Maryland was not done making news, though, as they announced their intent to leave for the Big 10 in 2014.
