    Alabama Crimson Tide win 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game

    Alabama Crimson TideThe Alabama Crimson Tide are the 2012 BCS National Champions after their 21-0 win over the LSU Tigers. It was the first shutout ever in a BCS game.

    Jeremy Shelley kicked five field goals for the Tide and Trent Richardson scored the lone touchdown in the game on a 34-yard run late in the fourth quarter. Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron, the offensive MVP, completed 23 of 34 passes for 234 yards. Read Full Story »

    Alabama, LSU set to face off in 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game

    2012 BCS National Championship GameThe Alabama Crimson Tide are set to face the LSU Tigers in the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game tonight at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The game will be televised by ESPN and ESPN3 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

    LSU (13-0, 8-0 SEC) is the number one ranked team in the country in the BCS Rankings, AP Poll and ESPN/USA Today Poll. Alabama (11-1, 7-1 SEC) is ranked second in all three polls and held off Oklahoma State for the spot in the title game. Read Full Story »

    Kentucky adds UT Martin to 2014 Football Schedule

    Kentucky WildcatsThe Kentucky Wildcats have added a game against the UT Martin Skyhawks to their 2014 football schedule, according to UTM’s official website.

    Kentucky will host UT Martin at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington on September 13, 2014. The game will be the first ever between the two schools. Read Full Story »

    2012 SEC Football Schedules Announced

    SECThe SEC officially announced their 2012 football schedules this morning. Conference play begins on Thurs., Aug. 30 with South Carolina at Vanderbilt.

    Missouri, which will compete in the Eastern Division, plays their first SEC game at home on Sept. 8 against Georgia. Texas A&M was placed in the Western Division and will host Florida on Sept. 8. Read Full Story »

    SEC to release 2012 Football Schedule on Wednesday

    SECThe SEC will officially release the 2012 football schedule on Wednesday, the conference announced today.

    The 2012 schedule will feature two new additions to the schedule, Missouri and Texas A&M. Both schools will leave the Big 12 and officially join the SEC on July 1, 2012.
