The Florida Gators have added the UMass Minutemen to their 2016 football schedule, the Palm Beach Post has reported.

With the addition of Missouri and Texas A&M to the SEC in 2012, there is a possibility that the conference will move to a nine-game conference schedule in the future. But could it be as soon as the 2012 season?
South Carolina President Harris Pastides thinks so. On Sunday, Pastides told the Daily Gamecock that the SEC will play nine conference football games each year. CBS has announced that the Nov. 5 game between the no. 1 LSU Tigers and the no. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide will be televised in prime time at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns have added the Florida Gators to their 2012 football schedule, interim athletic director Scott Farmer told theadvertiser.com.

The SEC has announced that they have accepted the Texas A&M Aggies as their 13th member beginning in the 2012 season.

The Tennessee Volunteers will buy out of their 2013 football game at Oregon, Rob Moseley of The Register Guard announced on Twitter.
Tennessee and Oregon signed a contract for a home-and-home series back in 2005. In the first game in 2010, the Ducks crushed the Volunteers 48-13 in Knoxville. Read Full Story »
The Presidents of the current SEC schools met today to discuss future conference expansion. Texas A&M was the leading candidate to bolt their current conference, the Big 12, to join the SEC in 2012.
After the meeting, Dr. Bernie Machen, Chair of the Southeastern Conference Presidents and Chancellors, issued the following statement:

The Georgia Bulldogs have added the ULM Warhawks to their 2015 football schedule, Sicemdawgs.com has reported.
Georgia will host ULM at Sanford Stadium in Athens on November 7, 2015 and will pay the Warhawks a $1.2 million guarantee for the game. The two schools have a “Memorandum of Understanding” to play the game with an official contract in the works. Read Full Story »

Georgia and New Mexico have each added a game against the Southern Jaguars to their future football schedules, TheAdvocate.com has reported.
