The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will play at the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 2012, MTSU announced today.

The game will be played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville on October 20, 2012. Mississippi State leads the overall series 4-0.

Middle Tennessee is also scheduled to play at Georgia Tech on Sept. 8 and at Memphis on a date to be announced.

The Florida Atlantic Owls are scheduled to play at the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 2014 season, FAUOwlAccess.com has reported.

The game will be the second meeting between the two schools. In their first meeting in 2009, Nebraska beat FAU 49-3 in Lincoln.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns have received their first ever bowl bid at the FBS level, the school announced today. The Cajuns will play in the 2011 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

The game will be played on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. ET at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana (ESPN and ESPN 3D). The Cajuns will be the first ever school from Louisiana to play in the bowl game.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves have added the Alcorn State Braves to their 2012 football schedule, Arkansas State Director of Athletics Dr. Dean Lee announced Wednesday.

Arkansas State will host Alcorn State at ASU Stadium in Jonesboro on September 22, 2012. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

The SEC has announced that they have accepted the Missouri Tigers as their 14th member effective July 1, 2012.

The Ragin’ Cajuns will travel to face the Florida Gators at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville on September 8, 2012. The Gators will pay the Cajuns a $950,000 guarantee.

The Tulane Green Wave and the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2012 and 2016, Tulane announced today.

Tulane will travel to face Louisiana-Lafayette at Cajun Field in Lafayette on October 6, 2012. On October 8, 2016, the Green Wave will host the Ragin’ Cajuns at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.

The Georgia Bulldogs have added the ULM Warhawks to their 2015 football schedule, Sicemdawgs.com has reported.

Georgia will host ULM at Sanford Stadium in Athens on November 7, 2015 and will pay the Warhawks a $1.2 million guarantee for the game. The two schools have a “Memorandum of Understanding” to play the game with an official contract in the works.

Nebraska will host the Arkansas State Red Wolves at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on September 15, 2012. In their first and only meeting in 2009, the Cornhuskers beat the Red Wolves 38-9.

The South Alabama Jaguars have updated their future football schedules. Two games were added to their 2012 schedule and a series with Navy now has dates.

South Alabama will open the 2012 season at home on September 1 against the UTSA Roadrunners. The following week, the Jaguars will host Nicholls State.

The ULM Warhawks have added Auburn and Oklahoma to their future football schedules, ULM Athletics Director Bobby Staub and head football coach Todd Berry announced.

ULM will travel to face the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium in September of 2012. The Warhawks are 0-8 against the Tigers and lost 52-3 at Auburn last season.
