The Arkansas State Red Wolves will play at the Auburn Tigers in 2013, ASU announced today.
Arkansas State will travel to Jordan Hare Stadium on Sept. 7, 2013. It will be the third meeting between these two schools in the last seven years. Auburn leads the series 2-0 after wins in 2006 (27-0) and 2010 (52-26).
Auburn will pay ASU $1.1 million for the game, which is the largest payment ever received by the Red Wolves. Read Full Story »
Conference USA announced today that they are adding five schools for the 2013 season. Joining C-USA are Charlotte, Florida International, Louisiana Tech, North Texas and UTSA.
Florida International and North Texas are moving from the Sun Belt while Louisiana Tech and UTSA are coming from the WAC. Charlotte, which begins their football program in 2013, will move up from the Football Championship Subdivision. Read Full Story »
The Georgia State Panthers will host Charlotte in 2015 and have had discussions for games against two FBS schools, the AJC has reported.
Georgia State will host the Charlotte 49ers at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on Sept. 3, 2015. The two schools are also discussing a game in 2016, but a contract has yet to be finalized. Read Full Story »
The Sun Belt Conference announced today that the Texas State Bobcats will officially join the league on July 1, 2013.
Texas State is currently an FCS Independent and becomes a member of the FBS when they join the WAC on July 1, 2012.
The Bobcats are the first team to officially announce their move from the WAC for 2013. Read Full Story »

The Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Atlantic Owls have scheduled a three-game football series for 2013, 2015 and 2016, the schools announced today.
The series will kick off in 2013 when Miami hosts Florida Atlantic at Sun Life Stadium on Aug. 31. The Hurricanes will then travel to face FAU in 2015 and will host the Owls again in 2016 to conclude the series. Read Full Story »
Two Baylor football games have been moved to accommodate television broadcasts, the school announced this afternoon.
Baylor’s season-opener at home against the SMU Mustangs, originally scheduled for Sept. 1, has been moved to Sunday, Sept, 2. The game will be televised by FSN at 5:30 p.m. CT. Read Full Story »
The Georgia State Panthers have accepted an invitation to join the Sun Belt Conference on July 1, 2013, the school announced this afternoon.
GSU will begin competition in the Sun Belt in the 2013-14 academic year. The Panthers were a founding member of the Sun Belt back in 1976 but left the conference in 1981. Read Full Story »
The Minnesota Golden Gophers announced a few changes to their future football schedules this morning.
On Sept. 6, 2014, Minnesota will host the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders at TCF Bank Stadium.
The Golden Gophers were previously scheduled to travel to Miami (OH) on Sept. 6, 2014, but will now make the trip to face the RedHawks on Sept. 17, 2016. Read Full Story »

The 2012 UTSA at South Alabama football game has been moved to Thursday, August 30, USA announced today. The game, which was originally planned for Saturday, Sept. 1., will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL.
Not only will this be the first game of the season for both schools, it will also be their first game at the FBS level. South Alabama beat the Roadrunners 30-27 in double-overtime last season in the first game of their home-and-home series. Read Full Story »
South Alabama joins the Sun Belt for the 2012 season, but will not be eligible for the conference title or a post-season bowl game until the 2013 season. The Nebraska Cornhuskers and the South Alabama Jaguars have scheduled a 2-game football series, the schools announced today.
Both games will be played at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The first match-up is scheduled for Sept. 12, 2015 with the second set for Aug. 31, 2019. The 2015 game will be the first ever between the two schools. Read Full Story »
The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will play at the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 2012, MTSU announced today.
The game will be played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville on October 20, 2012. Mississippi State leads the overall series 4-0.
Middle Tennessee is also scheduled to play at Georgia Tech on Sept. 8 and at Memphis on a date to be announced. Read Full Story »
