  • Reports: San Jose State, Utah State to join Mountain West in 2013

    MWCSan Jose State and Utah State appear to be headed for the Mountain West Conference in 2013, several sources have reported.

    Although nothing is official yet, multiple sources told The Salt Lake Tribune that Utah State will join the MWC next year and that an official announcement could come in 7-10 days. The Aggies have been a member of the WAC since 2005.

    UTSA just completed their inaugural football season as an FCS Independent. In 2012, they are stepping up to the Football Bowl Subdivision and will compete in the WAC.

  • Boise State, Utah State schedule 2014-15 Home-and-home Football Series

    Utah StateBoise StateBoise State and Utah State have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2014 and 2015, the schools announced today.

    Boise State will travel to face Utah State at Romney Stadium in Logan on Sept. 27, 2014. The Broncos will then host the Aggies at Bronco Stadium in Boise on Sept, 26, 2015.

  • 2012 UTSA at South Alabama football game moved to Thursday

    UTSASouth AlabamaThe 2012 UTSA at South Alabama football game has been moved to Thursday, August 30, USA announced today. The game, which was originally planned for Saturday, Sept. 1., will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL.

    Not only will this be the first game of the season for both schools, it will also be their first game at the FBS level. South Alabama beat the Roadrunners 30-27 in double-overtime last season in the first game of their home-and-home series.

  • 2012 WAC Football Schedules Announced

    WACThe 2012 WAC football schedules were announced today. Conference play begins on Saturday, Sept. 29 when UTSA travels to face New Mexico State.

    For the 2012 season, the WAC welcomes new members Texas State and UTSA. Fresno State, Hawaii and Nevada are no longer members as they have joined the Mountain West Conference.

  • Louisiana Tech announces 2012 Non-conference Football Schedule

    Louisiana Tech BulldogsThe Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have finalized their 2012 football schedule, the school announced Wednesday evening.

    The Bulldogs open the 2012 season on Thursday, Aug. 30 against the Texas A&M Aggies. The game will be played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA.

  • Texas A&M replaces McNeese State with Louisiana Tech on 2012 Football Schedule

    Texas A&M AggiesThe Texas A&M Aggies have replaced their season opener against McNeese State with a game against Louisiana Tech in Shreveport, the school announced on Twitter this evening.

    Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech will meet at Independence Stadium in Shreveport on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012. The two schools have met ten times in their history and the Aggies have won all ten.

  • UTSA Roadrunners announce 2012 Non-conference Football Schedule

    UTSA RoadrunnersThe UTSA Roadrunners have completed their 2012 non-conference football schedule, the school announced today.

    UTSA opens the 2012 season at South Alabama on Sept. 1. A week later, the Roadrunners host the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions in their home opener at the Alamodome.

  • New Mexico State Aggies complete 2012 Non-conference Football Schedule

    New Mexico StateThe New Mexico State Aggies have completed their 2012 non-conference football schedule, according to their official website.

    New Mexico State opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the Sacramento State Hornets. The Aggies then hit the road for two weeks with games at Ohio (Sept. 8) and UTEP (Sept. 15).

  • BYU, Hawaii set tentative dates for 2013-15 Football Games

    HawaiiBYUBYU and Hawaii have set tentative dates for their 2013 through 2015 football games according to Hawaii’s 2011 football media guide. Back in May, BYU and Hawaii agreed to play almost every year through 2020.

    Hawaii will host BYU at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on Sept. 28, 2013 and again on Nov. 7, 2015. BYU will host Hawaii at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Oct. 18, 2014.
