    2012 NFL Preseason Football Schedule Announced

    NFLThe 2012 NFL Preseason Football Schedule was released last week and kicks off with Arizona vs. New Orleans in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, Aug. 5 (8 p.m. ET; NFL Network).

    N.Y. Giants to host Dallas in 2012 NFL season opener

    NFLThe New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys in the 2012 season opener, the NFL announced this afternoon.

    The game will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. NBC will televise the game nationally at 8:30 p.m. ET.

    Arizona to face New Orleans in 2012 Hall of Fame Game

    Pro Football Hall of FameThe Arizona Cardinals will play the New Orleans Saints in the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, the NFL announced today.

    The preseason game will be played at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, August 5, 2012 and will be televised on NFL Network at 8:00 p.m. ET.

    2012 NFL season-opener to be played Wednesday, September 5

    NFLThe NFL announced yesterday that the 2012 season-opening kickoff game will be played on Wednesday, September 5.

    The match-up will feature the Super Bowl XLVI champion New York Giants against a team to be announced. New York will host the game at MetLife Stadium and it will be televised by NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET.

    The game, which is usually played on a Thursday, was moved to “avoid a conflict with President Barack Obama’s Thursday night speech at the Democratic National Convention.” Read Full Story »

    NFLWith the release of the 2011 NFL Football Schedules yesterday, ESPN’s 2011 Monday Night Football Schedule is set. Monday Night Football will kick off on September 12 with a doubleheader featuring the New England Patriots at the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders at the Denver Broncos.
