      3 straight SEC West road games for Auburn…@ LSU, @ Arkansas & @Texas A&M. That’s harsh

Texas A&M – the refs need to be impartial – instead the home games played in Texas are determined by the referees…needs addressed before 2017 season, as it is, its beneath SEC sportsmanship and honor.

I would guess CBS starts out 2017 in either Atlanta or Arlington but ESPN sure would love both of them

Probably ought to put an asterisk by the Florida/LSU game – “if played”.

Why does Alabama not ever play some of the tougher teams in the sec eastern division, like Georgia and Florida

Let me guess, one of War Memorial’s final games, oh boy how exciting.

The very last War Memorial game will almost certainly be Vanderbilt in 2018.

At least it’s an SEC team.

I would imagine one of NMSU’s final games in FBS, too.

      • David
        June 7, 2016 at 1:25 pm

NMSU is staying FBS. They have somewhat-locked regular games with rivals UTEP and New Mexico to build their schedule around. This contrasts with Idaho which couldn’t even get a game with Washington State one minute away. As long as SEC West, XII, and MW schools need OOC games, they should be able to fill their schedules. Plus, Las Cruces isn’t an unreasonable trip the way Moscow, Idaho was. For NMSU, they can fly into El Paso and bus up… or if they have a charter, fly right in to a decent airport. Plus, it’s a reasonably warm climate. Sorry, Idaho, you don’t have that.

So I guess Arkansas won’t also be playing Texas A&M on that same date as indicated on the “neutral site” list for 2017?

    3. Bill
      June 7, 2016 at 10:55 am

Well, it’s supposed to be played in Arlington thru 2024 at least I believe. Seems like with a pro stadium the dates would need to be worked out in advance to avoid conflicts with the Cowboys. Sorta like UF/UGA in Jax.

      CCU does not need a seven-figure payout…….their HC’s portfolio is a fat 8 figures…

But when will the SEC play a road game West of Texas?

        April 8, 2016 at 10:22 am

You should really look this stuff up before commenting, bashing the SEC with dumb questions does not make you look wise.

      April 7, 2016 at 11:48 pm

Evan this is a schedule site go look at the SEC’s schedules. I will help you out…

      2016 Miss State @ BYU
      2017 Ole Miss @ Cal
      2019 Mizzou @ Wyoming
      2020 Mizzou @ BYU
      2021 Auburn @ Cal
      2021 LSU @ UCLA
      2022 LSU @ Ariz State
      2025 UGA @ UCLA

      hope this helps

        April 8, 2016 at 9:19 am

Also Texas A&M at UCLA next year. Here is a list of SEC games out west since 2000:

2000 Alabama at UCLA, Mississippi State at BYU
2002 Mississippi State at Oregon, Auburn at USC
        2003 LSU at Arizona
2005 LSU at Arizona State, Arkansas at USC
        2007 Tennessee at California
2008 Georgia at Arizona State, Tennessee at UCLA
        2009 LSU at Washington
2010 Georgia at Colorado, Ole Miss at Fresno State
        2013 Tennessee at Oregon

I think I’m maybe missing one or two, but that’s pretty much it.

        Just to add…
        Texas A&M @ UCLA 17″, @ Colorado 21″
        Vandy @ Stanford 24′ 27

        June 1, 2016 at 3:43 am

You need to make an * next to the LSU @ Arizona State game because that game was originally scheduled to be played in Louisiana, the only reason why it was played @ Arizona State was because of Hurricane Katrina.

“Louisiana State and Arizona State have moved their football game Saturday from Baton Rouge, La., to Tempe, Ariz., because of Hurricane Katrina, with the Sun Devils saying they will donate most of the gate receipts to the relief effort.”

Lets not act like Louisiana State was originally scheduled to play there

Good for Colorado State… 2019 is about when the XII will finally add a couple teams, and their upgrading their schedule is an excellent move to make. Also, it’s state land grant vs. state land grant, which is always a good matchup!

      • Eric
        June 1, 2016 at 3:48 am

We both know at the end of the day there are more schools that are more deserving to move into the Big 12 before Colorado State.

Currently atm I’d put Colorado Stae 8th or 9th on the list of candidates.

        Big 12 current targets

        1. BYU
        2. Boise State
        3. Houston
        4. Cincinnati
        5. Memphis
        6. SMU
        7. UCONN

Honestly I think Cincinnati is the most logical due to West Virginia in the conference. followed by BYU/Boise State. Colorado State doesn’t do much in terms of bringing money into the conference even being able to get the Denver market back to the Big 12.

    4. WarMachine2013
      April 8, 2016 at 9:06 am

Also includes a home-and-home in basketball. Wonder if we’ll start seeing more of these types of deals? I think Cincinnati and Michigan set something up like that, too.
