It should be noted that this past season was also HBU’s 3rd in program history, so good for them for getting some money games.

I see that Missouri is doing the SEC thing…Only play 9 regular season games with P5 teams. I think of Baylor when I think of regular season schedules with only 9 teams year after year…But in 2017 even Baylor plays 10 P5 teams…As a matter of fact in 2016 only 25 P5 teams will play a regular season schedule of 9 games with P5 teams. Thirteen of those are in the SEC, eight in the ACC (BC actually only plays 8) ND only plays 9 and oh yes Baylor too.

When a 2020 game with BYU is the best OOC game on the schedule for the next 5 years even Baylor gets to laugh at you.

Having that extra bye week of an extra cupcake always helped Baylor.

Maybe Missouri can call Baylor and ask for help in scheduling Incarnate World?

Tully, tell us how is your favorite team’s schedule doing and how is their conference doing?

Missouri will be doing something Baylor won’t be doing in 2017… and 2021… They’ll be playing Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Arkansas… Baylor won’t play that many decent to good teams between now and 2021… so shut up about who Baylor plays. It doesn’t matter.

Missouri will play more NFL level players in their SEC schedule next year than most teams will get in two years…

My point flies right over your SEC brain…In 2016 41 of the 65 P5 programs will play a regular season of at least 10 games with P5 teams. That is 12 teams in the Big 10, including the teams most likely to win the Big 10. 11 of the PAC 12 teams will play at least 10 regular season games with P5 teams. (three PAC 12 teams play 11 regular season games with P5 teams UCLA,USC and Stanford)
9 of the Big 12 teams will play at least 10 regular season games with P5 teams. (Texas plays 11 Baylor plays 9)
In the ACC 7 teams play 10 regular season games with P5 teams, which includes the teams most likely to win the ACC.

In 2016 ND plays only 9 games with P5 teams. As does every SEC team but UGA.

In 2016 only 24 teams play nine (or less) regular season games with P5 teams. Thirteen of those are in the SEC.

At some point I expect the CFP reps from each of these conferences to make an issue of teams only playing 9 regular season games with P5 teams.

In 2017 at this time in the SEC LSU and Florida also go to 10 games with P5 teams. Even Baylor goes to 10 games with P5 teams. In the Big 10 13 teams will play 10 regular season games with P5 teams. In the Big 12 all 12 teams will play at least 10 games with P5 teams. In the ACC 8 teams already have 10 P5 games scheduled (3 have open dates) In the PAC 12 9 teams have 10 games with P5 teams scheduled.

That will be 45 of 65 teams playing at least 10 games with P5 teams. 11 of the 20 teams which do not have 10 games with P5 teams scheduled are in the SEC.

So I think at some point what amounts to an extra bye week for these teams not playing at least 10 regular season games with P5 teams will be an issue with the CFB Playoff committee.

See, here is what people like Tully continue to miss.

The amount of NFL-level talent in the SEC is unparalleled. Playing in the Big Ten simply isn’t as difficult. Playing in the Pac-12 isn’t as difficult.

Six SEC teams had at least FIVE players drafted.

So, even playing ten FBS teams, you’re still not facing the same level of talent SEC teams play in nine games.

Stop acting like playing Kansas is the same as playing Alabama. It’s not.

Speaking of not comprehending, again, who is your favorite team and how is their conference doing?
Anyone can write 20+ lines of B S and not say a thing, you have succeeded.

So, when the two best SEC teams end up playing at least 10 P5 games (because unlike the conference you’re blablablahing about, the SEC has a championship game), what exactly does Baylor’s having played Kansas, Kansas State, and Iowa State say that makes there once-in-a-lifetime 10-game P5 so much better? Do tell!

They missed their best opportunity in their poor walk on try outs in 2013 and 2014 . The best talent they will ever see was passed over and that talent playing other schools with coaches who recognize talent that have NFL potential . So sad UNT you could have had it all

Phil B… TAM still has two games to schedule for 2020. One very likely a G5. And you can be assured the other will be a FCS program, likely from the Southland or SWAC. Can you say Incarnate Word or Houston Baptist?

Awaiting to hear which FCS programs the Aggies will add to their 2017 through 2019 schedules. I bet the Aggies don’t schedule “up” North Dakota St or a Montana school. SE Lousiana still needs a FBS opponent for 2016. The Aggies best schedule the Lions before one of the Florida schools does.

Just a heads up. Didn’t hear any announce on fbschedules that the Gamecocks have added West Carolina for 2016. But saw the announce North Carolina scheduled The Citadel for 2016. But that game has yet to be added to Tar Heel schedule by fbschedules.
