Actually, it is nice to see Bama add S.Miss back onto the schedule, they used to play all the time.

Wasn’t Navy previously scheduled to play at Sou Miss in 2019?

This used to be a really good series in the 80’s. Better than ULM which seems to be Auburn’s permanent OOC game.

When are they going to schedule South Alabama?

hopefully never we already own them in baseball why humiliate them further i can see it now aubun vs south alabama in football 2020 42-6 auburn over south Alabama the final. next day south Alabama shuts down its football program with this statement “we hardly ever beat them in baseball. now we know we can’t beat them in football if we played auburn 8 straight times auburn would blow us out in all 8 meetings”

Own them in Baseball? have you even watched any of the meetings we’ve had with them in baseball? yes we’ve beaten them here and there. but they’ve also had their fair share of wins against us. think before yo speak bud and what does beating them in baseball have to do with football? that’s just like saying we beat alabama in basketball so we should beat them in football. completely different sports.

i would like for Auburn to play
USA. Better than ULM or any FCS team. Do a 5 game deal with 1 game in Mobile and 4 in Auburn. Do the same with UAB. As for Troy….NEVER

Any USM fans – Is it right that BYU-USM is dead? Thanks.

I don’t know about BYU but USM has been dead for a few years.

It’s tough for So Miss to compete when the star players want to attend a Power 5 Conference school. If So Miss say was to get an invite to the Big 12 the program would change quickly. It takes money, political connections and some luck, all of which So Miss lacks. That pipe dream will never happen, I support my alma mater with a check every year, truth is they should drop the program, until every division 1 program has a legitimate shot at being a national champion what’s the point. The Power 5 are greedy institutions who want it all, unless your a member your really nothing. Basketball can do it, football could also. #SouthernMississippiUSM

USM’s only hope is to get an invite to the AAC when the Big 12 adds one or two AAC teams.

If the NCAA wants to continue to let the so called Power 5 conferences run college football (letting the tail wag the dog) I have suggested for years that all other conferences break away from what we know as the NCAA. Start a new association similar to the NCAA, playing only the members in the new association, and playing for this associations national championship. The so called Power 5 seem to think that the so called mid major schools can’t survive without them. Which in reality they can’t afford not to have the so called mid majors on their schdule. Unless they replace the mid majors with the lower half of each so called Power 5 schools. Of which in “MOST” cases the lower half of each so called Power 5 schools bring nothing to the table. Basically have a free ride to enjoy the finical success provides by the upper half our their conference. There are a few exception, but very few such as Kentucky.

Most so called mid major schools, such as Southern Miss can play week in and week out with the lower half of every so called Power 5 conference. And the Southern Miss of old can play with the upper half of the so called Power 5. Not to worry, Southern Miss is well on its way back to this point!!!

Not to slam the other two Division 1 schools within the state of Misissippi, but if they had to meet today’s requirements that the so called Power 5 are looking for such as location, location, location I just don’t see how they would ever get into the SEC. The most perfect located university within the state is by far Southern Miss. And our administration has got to figure out how to get this across to the NCAA and more importantly by able to claim our TRUE tv market!!!

Sorry for the length of commit, but I have been holding this for a long time!!!

I suspect this means UMass will be in Provo Nov. 19, 2016. BYU still needs two home games.

What happened to Miami (Florida) U playing a home and home with Southern Miss? Did that deal fall through or are they still going to play?

Disappointed the Southern Miss backed out of the November 19th BYU game on such short notice. I understand that lately SM has been playing for a paycheck and my guess is that SEC Kentucky is paying a lot more (and is closer to home).

BYU should contact Kansas State ASAP. They have an open ROAD GAME in 2016.

Kansas State would never again schedule a decent out of conference team like BYU. They want more cupcakes like South Dakota.

Dave. I’ll have you know south dakota is he only team to play NDSU and not lose to them. AKA the coyotes beat the national champion.
