      Road game at MSU.

That will be a good test. Wyoming has a good offense but still needs work on defense. Like to see the Pokes pull the upset.

You ‘boys don’t stand a chance when you travel to Iowa to play the Hawks.

Wyoming needs to either join the Big Sky or drop their football program . I feel sorry for Bohl, I bet he wishes he had never committed to a career in Laradise.

Good to see rivals from different conferences can play each other. ACC-SEC rivals have no problem doing this either but Texas and Kansas can’t find a way to play Texas A&M and Mizzou. Don’t give me that they left the Big 12 stuff. Georgia Tech left the SEC yet Georgia stills plays them. It can be done!

I agree. I hate it when schools give the “well we’re in different conferences so we can’t play each other” BS. It makes them look even dumber that the southern schools and schools like Iowa-Iowa St still make it work.

Wait tilk 2018, then will West Virginiat move back to an east cost conference, flying your football and basketball teams to the mid-west is very expensive.

You would think Missouri would be banging down Kansas’ door to play. It’s a free win!

Rivalries that should be yearly that don’t happen no more….

      Florida/Miami
      Pitt/WV
      Texas/A+M
      Missouri/Kansas
      Notre Dame/Michigan (ending)

As It reads there is only one protected cross division rivalry but as I look at these schedules for the first four years of the nine game conference schedules each school is playing one other cross-over every year.

      Ohio State vs Nebraska
      Michigan vs Wisconsin
      Michigan State vs Northwestern
      Rutgers vs Illinois
      Maryland vs Minnesota
      Penn State vs Iowa
      and of course
      Indiana vs Purdue

I had not heard anything about that before.

When will it be called something other than the Big 10 and actually be 2 divisions?

Are you aware of branding. Big Ten is probably biggest brand in college sports yet you want to change it to what Big 14 – so dumb.

What about Ohio State at Northwestern? Besides the Michigan game, this is the biggest test for the Buckeyes all year. That game will be very high scoring and exciting to watch.

Illinois will seek to avoid double-digit losses, while Indiana will fight for the right to get destroyed in the Taxslayer.com Bowl. I can see why this rivalry tilt garners an honorable mention :-P

        August 20, 2013 at 10:06 am

Understood, but making these lists is tough. It would be too easy to list every Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska etc. game and be done with it.

Some of the games are there because they are rivalry games.

      • Clayton Tinkle
        August 20, 2013 at 4:31 pm

I tried to include more than just the big schools, like Kevin mentioned. The game should be a high scoring shoot out.

jeep33- I agree 100%. And I live in Lincoln! This overrated team and their numb-rod fans are unbelievable. Not everyone is NU fan.

I’m an Illinois fan, but let’s face it – the Illinois football program has been less than “shining” for quite a few years now. Why the Illinois / Indiana game is even mentioned is puzzling to me!
I’m just glad we don’t have to play Alabama or Auburn – SHEESH!!

After UCLA game, Nebraska less of a factor than before. Their new goal should be: 4-4 in conference play. Won’t be easy.

NOBODY will beat the BUCKEYES this year, unless it’s the ref’s! The Buckeyes can’t even seem to get a Homer at home! Bert Heyder, Naples, Florida

Mich.is the team to watch good enough to take the bucs. 31 to 28 is a realistic score if urban can keep his quarterback healthy it’ll be close.

      September 21, 2013 at 2:41 pm

And give it up bert osu plays two teams maybe three that has any real skills hopefully some of these smaller programs step it up.

Wisconsin vs. ANYONE in the big ten or elsewhere is an AWESOME game! Big soffenisve line, amazing running back x 3 and now Stave can throw the ball. It took sixty minutes for OSU to beat the Badgers…..they will not go quietly into this good night!

      August 6, 2013 at 10:13 am

Yeah, not sure if WKU will still play Army or the date has just changed.

WKU was also slated to play at LSU on 9/17/16, but that is now the date they are playing at Miami (OH).
