The ATLANTIC should be to the right of the image of Florida. Florida – Atlantic, both symbolically and geographically. Their helmet looks like they should be the Panhandles.

Ohio does realize they are in the MAC and not the MEAC, right? That’s why we call them Bobblecats.

Ohio Director of Athletics Jim Schaus – should work with Ohio State Buckeyes and have OSU play Tulsa at the (old) Cotton Bowl in Texas – freeing up The Shoe for the Ohio U vs Kansas game in 2016…There are more Bobcat fans living in Columbus that in Athens… work with Kroger to Fill the Shoe… take the season ticket holder spots and place them in the Shoe then have an extra ticket sales for alumni after season tickets are sold… see how many get sold then 2-4 months before to try and fill C Deck with $10 dollar sales in Kroger and $5 seats win 1 month remaining at local Columbus High Schools…

550k guarantee? That seems super low.

because Ohio gets an home/home basketball series with Purdue with only taking $500,000 for the away football game.

Purdue as a bottom 1/2 B10 team lately has a surprising 2017 schedule. They play Mizzou and Louisville..2P5’sOOC. They will likely only be favored in the Ohio OOC game.

With the B1G going to 9 games plus a P5 OOC game, and some schools scheduling 2 and even 3 P5 in future years, that doesn’t leave any more spots for MAC schools, maybe fewer. The B1G was playing about 6 FCS games a year, but going to 9 B1G games means 14 fewer OOC games. There is also an increase of 10 P5 games per year. By my count that means about 18 fewer slots for G5 schools than the B1G plays now.

I think the B1G will let 2016 slide on FCS schools, but I expect the 2017 onward games will get cancelled (below)

      Maryland 2017 Towson
      Rutgers 2017 Morgan State
      Illinois 2018 Western Illinois
      Iowa 2018 Northern Iowa
      Minnesota 2019 South Dakota State
      Maryland 2020 Towson

UAB has a chance to schedule some revenue games here (I keep wondering when they are going to start setting up some games)

The SEC and ACC consider BYU a P5 team and from the looks of scheduling the Pac 12 does too.
      Maybe we all should

The B1G, SEC, and ACC have all said they count BYU games as P5. The Pac-12 and Big XII do not have an OOC P5 requirement wince they have 9 games, although most of the schools schedule one or two anyway. IN general there are fewer games to be had for the G5 against the P5 except BYU

Isn’t UMASS a MAC team for football? If so, that’d only give OU 2 games if your info is correct….

The MAC finally figured out not to have teams travel to UMass on a short week. Of course, this is UMass’s last year in the MAC, so it’s too little too late.

All Power5 programs have completed their 2015 schedules (although BC is awaiting to hear if NM St cancels their game).

Numerous Group of Five programs are scrapping to fill their 2015 schedules.

Ball St and Western Mich both need OOC games. One of these programs could end up playing South Alabama (after their game with UAB was cancelled). All have 9/19 open.

W Mich could schedule an FCS program, but not many FCS programs with dates open, and it will cost a bunch to attract a home game. If UCF does not opt to play an FCS program, could hook up with W Mich (both with 9/19 open).

With 2 or 3 games yet to schedule San Diego State needs to get on the ball. Maybe the Aztecs are hoping NM St will cancel the 9/19 UTEP game, and then SD St could schedule the Miners?

Geo St and FIU could hook up (both have 9/12 and 9/26 open).

Then SMU, Louis Tech, ULL and Texas St each still need one game.

Some FCS programs not yet matched up with a FBS opponent: Montana St, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Alabama St, Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern, South Carolina St

(unknown if they are actually looking for FBS opponents as their schedules have not been publicly announced).

Air Force needs a game. Possibility AF could hook up with Montana St?

And San Diego St, Air Force, Fresno St and San Jose St can opt to schedule an additional game via their ‘Hawaii exemptions’.

Sidenote: The Tarheels have scheduled games against two FCS opponents (NC A&T and Delaware). Why?

WMU plays Georgia Southern, Michigan St and Ohio State in 2015. I assure u that their 4th non-conf game will be against an FCS school. Maybe a junior college
